Rock Salt Jinny
Rock Salt Jinny was a crazy lad
With a broom and a shovel is all he had
He played roulette almost everyday
But all he came up with were rocks and hay
And when he bent down to pick up a scoop
All his hair fell out and his pockets would droop
How he got rich we will never know
Only a gold watch and a rabbits foot was all he would grow
And there he sits with his riches to pay
For rocking roulette games that keep his demons at bay
Without his gold bracelet and lavender suits
He muddled around with pockets of loot
Hacking, and coughing from all the harsh play
He smoked Winston Light cigarette's and drank coffee all day
Spring time had come and life was a hoot
But he was blowing millions on liquor and hooch
So when he'd fall down he'd stand up and say
such is life and come what may
Winning and losing his thoughts were they say
Hey stupid it's craps you should play
So now he stands in line at heavens gates
Because late last night his dealer was Norman Bates
