It only drags on the already slow game. I understand, a few goofs THINK they'll know what section the ball will land by watching where its released blah blah blah. Ok, they're off the hook (but still goofy). What about the others? The ones that can't even see the wheel? LoL They wait and wait and then BAM! Arms all over the damn place trying to put their 16 stacks of dollar chips down on time. Myself, done in under 5 seconds.....waiting for the ball to be spun.
Question being, what are these people waiting for? Not to brag (you heard me correct Snowman), some people wait for me to place my chips. Guess why....yep. I hate stalkers. that's a roulette term I came up with, 'stalkers'. If a gambler is doing well and bettors WAIT to see where that guy is betting. It drives me *NUTS*!!!! I do the homework and you catch a free ride off me, real nice.

Ken,
I have noticed this at the baccarat table. With all the Asians. When one is doing well they all " follow the lleader".
I remember the first time I played baccarat I was looking for a $ 5 table minimum ( About 20 years ago).I sat down inclusing a group of Asians. Dealer ( F) began the usual card shuffling ballet when I noticed it was a $ 10 table .
I got up and the entire gang followed me to the next table which happened to be at $ 5 min.I did well and walked away as a winner. ( Good start on New Years Day 1989 at the SHOWBOAT AC. :yahoo:

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!
you can wait till the dealer has thrown the ball.A VB player or sector player has no choice.
The other way of waiting is to wait for an indication of the display.I make my decision always after the last spin and the graphics of the different chances. The dealer has to throw the ball and I may wager. This is one of the basic rules of my strategy.
