Roulette Balance Wheel or Tick Tock Goes The Clock or The Baker's Dozen or The Music Maker
Below are 7 groups of 13 numbers labeled A through G.
E) 0.2.5.6.7.8.14.19.22.33.34.35.36
F) 1.3.4.6.11.18.23.24.25.27.28.31.32
G) 9.10.12.13.15.16.17.20.21.26.27.29.30
A) 0.2.5.7.8.13.14.19.22.33.34.35.36
B) 1.3.4.6.11.18.23.24.25.28.31.32.36
C) 9.10.11.12.15.16.17.20.21.26.27.29.30
D) 0.2.5.7.8.13.14.19.22.30.33.34.35
Always record 1 spin then place the first bet on the default group in RED.
Next we use the result of that spin to decide in what direction our bets will go – up or down.
Check the last 2 results and see in what direction they moved around the single zero roulette wheel. This is not really important and is only done to remove any subjective decision making. You could just start the up or down movement with a coin toss, etc.
Examples: 34-0 = up. 12-35 = up. 1-21 = down. 1-4 = up. 25-8 = down.
Let's say we are going down. If the first bet (A) won or lost, the next bet is on (B) unless the number that came out was part of the (B) group. If it was then you skip over the (B) group and bet the (C) group. If this new bet (let's say B) won or lost, the next bet is on (C) unless the number that came out was part of the (C) group. If it was then you skip over the (C) group and bet the (D) group. Continue like this until the bottom is reached then start coming up the scale. Then down the scale, then up the scale, etc.
Betting progression is 1-2-3-3 / 1-2-3-3 / 1-2-3-3 / 1-2-3-3 / 1-2-3-3, etc.
Each time you win return to the beginning of a new 4 step progression.
Every time you lose 4 bets in a row, return to the default group (A) for the next game and start at the beginning of a new 4 step progression. Then use the last 2 results for your new direction.
Every time you start or restart at (A) keep a current profit count for the new game. Each time any game wins 107 or more units, return to the default group (A) for the next game and start at the beginning of a new 4 step progression. Then use the last 2 results for your new direction.
Nice approach Bombus,
And easy to grasp too...I'm interested, have you done much testing on this or played it yourself?
Thanks
Buffalo
****************Examples: 34-0 = up. 12-35 = up. 1-21 = down. 1-4 = up. 25-8 = down.*******
I don't understand this part. Why does 34-0 = up? The numbers 34 and 0 both appear above and below the red line of numbers
@ Buff,
I must admit I haven't tested this a great deal, but so far it has been fun to play and is in profit.
I'm off to the casino tonight so will probably give this a go after dinner. I'll report back tomorrow.
@ col,
Don't worry about it mate, like I said it's not important, just go down to start off with.
---------------------------------------------
You guys are going to love this...
I played this at the casino last night and endured 270 spins.
Biggest drawdown was 690 units ... EEEK!
Managed to claw back 164 units before conceding defeat.
Total loss = 526 units!
After playing this I have some ideas on how to improve it (wouldn't be hard given last night's result, eh?). Will post after some testing.
BTW in the original post the reset goal should be 117, not 107 (that was a typo, sorry).
Sorry about the loss. I know I'm a newbie and cannot slag off a mod, but do you not think you should have did a bit more testing first!?!
What you did really was 'going in to the trenches' !!!!!!
I get nervous betting 2 units on an EC and pull out at 3 straight losses lol

Ha!
I played it for fun (for a change), it could have gone the other way, and it was only 526 units...
To keep it in context, before I started playing I watched some guy lose $300,000 on the Bac tables, then he just got up, went over to the lounge area, sat down and watched the tennis. lol.
I've made some big changes to this method after getting slaughtered the other day.
In light of this the best thing to do is move the thread from full systems to bet selection.
Done that.
Now, seeing as there is currently a lot of interest in testing, and posting graphs of said tests, I am going to test this method for a possible 22 x 200 spin samples.
I will do it in RX and post each graph on completion.
I will be using the spins selected by Bayes called the Horror.txt, which he was kind enough to post in Victor's new Roulette Forum .cc site in the thread "Beating roulette with math.." reply #50.
If I make any further changes as we go I will announce them.
I will explain what I'm doing once I'm sure I can't sell it for half a mil or something... :D
Attached is a practice session done with the RX default RNG.
I stopped at 197 spins because the system reached the 117 unit win goal to reset, so it wasn't worth starting again for 3 spins.
Nice result bombus
Still it looks to risky for me..
It got up to 580 and then down to 168... This kind of progression always get me go crazy :girl_wacko:
@A3on47
I'm not playing it as first posted.
I'm playing each set of 13 numbers with its own progression and reseting all the progressions every time I reach a new bankroll high point, and reseting the game to group A each time it wins 117 units.
In the original post I said to skip over the following group if the next number out was part of that group. What I've done is make an eighth progression for the skip over bets. So now I don't skip over any group. Instead I add the bet into the "hold" progression and bet on the group as group H. This means any group can become part of group H.
So if I bet on group A and I'm going down, the next bet is on B.
Let's say the B group has completed step 3 in the progression, and the H (hold) group has completed step 1 in the progression, and the next number out is 18. This signals a bet in the H group, not the B group so the bet is group H stage 2. You bet the numbers from group B but record the result in group H.
Well here it is, the first Horror 200 spin test.
It sure started like a horror story but boy did this method pick up and charge home! :)
Here's the second 200 horror spins. :'(
Here's the third...
Fourth chart...
Game five...
This is also a beauty.Play it for fun. With real money too risky.I am an old man .This system is too complex to play it on a
live wheel. To have a judge of the results, the bankroll is not important.I am more interested in the profitpercentage of the total bets. I predict -2,7% on the long run.
You can play the system without common sense.
After 5 games totaling 1000 spins the balance stands at -530 units.
Not good, but out of interest I will continue.
@Schoey, It is actually a very simple game to play. I just haven't explained it fully or adequately for now.
I have also been examining a very interesting fine tuned bet within this system that is actually in profit - more details later - suffice to say that for the 5 games played the fine tuned method has won 4 times and lost 1 time.
For instance, in this last game the overall result was + 90 units. The fine tuned bet selection result was +228 units.
Oh yeah, the fine tuned method is a bit more complex to play as it requires charting and recording the results for the Balance Wheel System played virtually, then chiming in with the fine tuned method every so often.
So there are always 2 bankroll assessments being calculated at the same time. The first being master (played virtual), and the second being slave ( played for real).
On avaerage the fine tuned selections bet every 3 or 4 spins.
Bombus it must be not so difficult to program the profitpercentage .The diagram should be more valuable.A diagram with a line for the input and payout should tell us much more than the balance of the BR.
Game six...
Game 7...
Current balance - 385
Game 8...
Current balance -584
so the system losses after time.
why not have 5 numbers in the 7 sectors.
since everything is ment to even out overtime, look for the sectors that have less hits then bet on them.
in my opinion you are covering to many numbers.

Maybe, that's one reason for the test - to see if it wins or loses - 14 games to go!
why not have 5 numbers in the 7 sectors.
Um, because I'm testing a 13 number method.
since everything is ment to even out overtime, look for the sectors that have less hits then bet on them.
Ok... been there, done that, along with everyone else.
in my opinion you are covering to many numbers.
Not too many for a 13 number system, just the right amount actually.
Game 9...
There are a some interesting statistics developing as this test goes on, but for now I'm just going to keep on posting each game result.
Current balance after 9 games/1800 spins = -429
Slightly below schoenpoester's -2.7% prediction.
Game 10...
2000 spins / current balance = -766
Bombus have you also such diagrams of the Cauldron. You have promised long run results.I think the problem is to program the Cauldron for a large test.
Yes the cauldron has proved difficult to code for a long test.
I did have several 5000 spin tests done manually in RX but lost them due to a recent computer crash.
As for this test, I am going to persist with the whole 22 x 200 spin games.
So far all 10 of the completed games where in profit at one point, this is promising but I must be careful not to reverse engineer any modifications.
That said, I do have modifications in mind that I'm also testing without posting results.
For instance, game 8 posted results;
Bankroll high 666 units, Bankroll end 301 units.
Game 8 tweaked results;
Bankroll high 780 units, Bankroll end 528 units.
Game 11...
2200 spins / current balance = -551
Game 12...
2400 spins / current balance = -1004
Game 13...
2600 spins / current balance = -2036
Game 14...
2800 spins / current balance = -2440
This is the first game so far that was never in profit at some point. I will be playing this game again with the updated rules.
We'll see if there is any improvement.
After 14 games the most significant statistic is the fact that despite the overall loss, the method moved into profit at some point in 13 out of 14 attempts.
This shows the method has some potential to profit.
The first thing to do then is include a rule that restarts the game at each and every new bankroll high.
The other significant statistic is the consistent appearance of large drawdowns.
This is because as it stands the method is playing through larger spin samples with many loaded progressions being beaten by unfavourable dispersions.
The second thing to do then is include a rule that dumps outstanding progressions and restarts the game after a 4 step progression loss.
The problem here is that this method has two separate progression types so the rule should be to end the game only for the losing progression type and continue with the remaining progression type.
When both progression types have lost once each the game is over. Restart new game.
Ending each progression type as they lose will also mean altering the sequence of bets, which could be a good thing as it will mean the bet selection is no longer stuck on the poor dispersion trail that caused it to lose in the first place.
From this point forward I will play the remainder of the Horror sessions with the new rules in place.
To avoid reverse engineering, any new changes will be included before starting any new session.
Here is game 16...
with the new format (session 15 to follow as it is stored on my other computer which is out of action at the moment).
Oops!
Forgot to attach.
Here is game 16...
Game 15...
This game should have ended at spin 176 - bankroll 921. This is because the 200 spin cut off point has left the current game unfinished.
Game 17...
A tough game with several losses but managed to end with +109 units.

If a method doesn't break even when its not winning, open a window and throw it out.

If a method doesn't break even when its not winning, open a window and throw it out.
Yes that's the final fix for this system.
When do I throw the current game out the window and start a new one?
If it's losing and I throw it out too soon then I'm not giving the system enough opportunity to win back the losses. Do this too often and it's goodnight Irene.
If it's losing and I persist betting too long then I'm opening the door for a poor dispersion or the session from hell to walk in and annihilate the system. It could recover but likely would mean playing a superhuman marathon to get square.
So I need to play through some downturns, but abandon others. There needs to be a tipping point.
This is a double ledger game, and at this point I've settled on, any two progression losses on one side of the ledger = end game.
I'll play the next game with this dumping rule in place.
"When do I throw the current game out the window and start a new one" >>> Yep, I call it....When to kick a method to the side?

My new kick is calculating EV. If you can't accurately calculate the EV for a method, why are you taking it to the casino? There are two types of players, serious and recreational. Which do you want to be? If you can't calculate on paper what the expected value is, stay home. You'll find the EV of most methods is negative. If you know that about your method, why would you ever risk real money with it? If you're a serious player, that is..
