if you have a hundred dollars. put it all on the first bet. betting 1.5.10. dollars and the casino edge will get you. you are better to put the whole bankrol on your first bet. even money of course. the only other way of winning is to play mr j. system. but you have to be game. i keep reading about skill at roulette. would somebody enlighten me as what it means. keep trying.
You do realize the house edge is the same for one bet as it is for 100 bets right?

That's what pins is saying...why play for 100 spins with prog. when you can put it all on one bet
Okay. So you think it is wise to risk your entire bankroll, maybe even your entire net worth on a bet with a NEGATIVE expectation? :good: WELL DONE!
Personally I think in order to do well at roulette you need to be pretty good at math. It sounds like you have a math/common sense problem rather than a roulette problem.

Personally I don't agree with either of you, just explaining what pins meant.
Thanks!

pins: this is a mistake, inexperience players make. There is a principle difference between the house edge and the chance.
For every spin and system the house edge is unchangeable 1,35-2,7 ..Bet all your units for example 63 on Red.The chance to hit is 18/37= 0,486.Bet six spins 1-2-4-8-16-32 and the chance is (18/37)^6=0.237.The other point to consider is the profit%.All the units on red give a profit % of 50% with a hit and in the other case 1,59 %
If you develop a method you must consider these features!!
lose it quick or lose it slow. that what you are saying.
