Title: Going to the Casino for the first time Sat**day
Post by: tjmcnich on May 03, 2011, 06:18:28 PM
Hi Guys!!

first time here. . .  this sat**day im going to the casino and my plan is play roulette and use in grand martingale. . .

I'll be sitting back until I see 3 colors in a row. . .  and then bet against that color. . . .  Also plan on betting in this order 1,3,7,15,31,63,127. . .  I'm only a college kid so I can only afford to blow 150. . .   I really hoping that 10 oppisite colors don't show up in a row. . .  =) any tips or suggestions other than man this kid is an idiot would be great. . .

THANKS GUYS!
Tom

Tom,

You may well get away with it for a short day, but don't make a habit of this kind of play.

In the mean time, good luck to you and if you can pull 50 to 100 out of it, call it a good day and exit while you can.

Remember, do NOT make this type of play your normal operation, it will bite you big time.  It's just a matter of time.

Not doing the martingale anymore. . .  instead

I'm going to play the columns and do a bet progression. . .  The Table Minimum I believe at Harrah's Casino Joliet is $10

However, I won't be placing a bet on any column until 1 column hasn't had a hit in 5 spins. . .   For me to lose my $200 I will need a column to not have a hit for 12 straight spins. . .  Of course that does happen but hopefully I'll have a $200 or more profit before that happens.

I've spent the last 3 days doing this on  . . .  playing for fun. . .  so far I'm up $610

tjmcnich: your idea is very simply to program in excel. The program will learn you it is a very dangerous system. The SSB method is much better A long time ago i have published both excel programs on this forum.I advice you to study these first.Listen good to the experts of this forum.

Its to late now, i guese you are already there. Dude wtf, don't waste your money, you will loose it. 150 limit? your going to be cleaned out with a few spins.

Waiting for 3 coulers to come up makes no difference, it wont increase chances of you winning, why do most people think like that? Stupid gamblers fallacy.

I suggest you do some research on this forum, look in the advantage player section.

Play for real money, i can promise you the results WON'T be the same. Don't be so naive.

You cannot beat roulette based on probability and mathematics. Don't bother, you are wasting your time, just like i did.

Take it from me, because i learned the hardway and lost a lot of money.

Just curious.

If you are planning a trip to the Moon, you have a better chance of landing on the Moon, if you actually aim for the Moon.

No matter how you play Roulette, if you want to win your session, you better do what the wheel is doing, and not what you expect the wheel to do.

The problem with sleeping numbers (dozens, columns, etc) is, sometimes they are just napping, but sometimes their deep sleep turns into your nightmare.

So did tjmcnich win last night?  Maybe.  If he did, it was simply because, the unique stream of numbers that he was experiencing in his session was compatible with what he was doing.

tjmcnich might think that last night he tested his columns system.  I say it was a test of the unique number stream.  And that's why I don't think that testing has much value, in the sense of predicting whether a method will succeed or fail for the individual roulette player.  (The number streams in the tests will not be the number streams that the player will experience in his real sessions.)

I agree with ReDsQuaD, when it comes to probabilities in a roulette session, they can't be counted on.

What I wish I did. . . .  Was bet on Black and Red. . .  What I was thinking about was betting which one was "hot". . . .  in the couple hours I was there I didn't see any whiching colors per turn order go past 6. . .  Meaning Red, Black, Red Back Red Black. . .  It was Red Red Red Red or Black Black Black Black etc pretty much all night.

tjmcnich  ,

You  are to be commended for being honest to report  a substanstial loss. By substantial I mean  relative to the  bankroll you have taken along.

Nothing wrong with your bet selection  ( the one  column as you  have  explained) . however within the next few days  I PM you with how  Nathan would have  played this  method.

You deserve that much.

Nathan Detroit
HAPPY WINNINGS!!!

Nice sense of honesty there. Sorry to hear you lost your money, but like you and I said, you live and learn.

Good luck with your progress.
