Interesting to read what everyone thinks. Lets say a guy is betting on the (6-1)....0,00,1,2,3 (7.89% H.A.)
Do you think the dealer should give his/her knowledge/opinion on what a crappy bet that is or just let it go?

Most dealers don't know its a crappy bet. Most dealers
don't know what the HE is for the games they deal. Ask
them, you'll see.
I actually had a craps dealer get pissed off at me for the way I bet. At a crowded table, he was angry at me and told me I need to learn how to play craps.
After I won a bunch of money, I blew it all on stupid bets.
I think the dealers should have no opinion and just do their job.
It's my money and I'll bet how I want.
Well, dealers are human too.
I know for a fact some dealers feel for certain customers; especially recurring ones losing big time.
In the case of one of those certain players is wagering in the enhanced house advantage spot, maybe s/he could tell the customer ONLY ONCE about it. Past that, it is all in the customer's hands/choice...
In my opinion dealers just have to keep quiet and do what they told. They get salery and tips too, if they behave.
