Title: Would you trust the hybrid Video Roulette from Winner Casino?
Post by: Pactole on January 02, 2012, 11:33:11 AM
Have you ever play at the Video roulette from Winner casino?

I never played it yet and i'm not sure
I should trust this hybrid between Live wheel and RNG.

Even though it's recorded from a real wheel,
it's not Live, so they could program their software
to understand your betting strategy and then throw
at you numbers that make you lose faster
just like rigged RNG (like Playtech RNG).

The only advantage I see is that we can spin the wheel more often
in an hour and we can also take all the time we need
to place our bets, contrary to Live wheel where we
only have 25 or 30 seconds to place our bets.

So my question is: Have you ever played with real
money at this Video Roulette from Winner casino?
If so, do you think it's fair just like a real wheel is?

Why on earth would a casino, B&M or online, ever cheat?

They make enough money from just honest games and dishonest games make no sense at all.

The casino doesn't need to cheat to take money from my pocket......

At least try and play at an online casino that offers live games and comes from an actual B+M casino.

Dublinbet is the obvious one and now Fairway casino have a link to a live B+M casino in Ireland as well. It is called the Sporting Emporium club.

The Sporting Emporium is less than 1km away from the Fitzwilliam Club (dublinbet)

Some of you might like to check out that wheel. It looks like an older style Huxley and there is not much scatter from what I am seeing tonight. (The ball just mostly drops dead into the wheel practically every spin)

Well it is more than likely that they were using a teflon ball when I was playing. This has very little bounce compared to a nylon ball. This is a good opportunity for VB players.

I noticed the female dealers all had the rotor going at much slower speeds than the male dealers. It certainly reduced the scatter considerably.

@revolver. There are some articles in the download section on VB if you are interested.

cheers

iggiv,

Here's the link:

nolinks://casino.winner.com/new_casino_games.html (nolinks://casino.winner.com/new_casino_games.html)

This is not an affiliate link.

Scroll down a bit and the third image is about Video Roulette, but they don't say much.

So if you want to see how it looks like, then
you have to download the casino and play in "Demo mode".

Minimum bet is Euro 0.20
Maximum bet is Euro 1,000

In Demo mode, we can bet 1,000 Euro on a single number
but i don't know if it's the same betting limits in "Real mode".

iggiv,

As i said, it's recorded from a real wheel,
but not in a single recording, it's in three parts.

They just replay a woman spinning the wheel
counterclockwise or clockwise, then we see another
video recording of the ball spinning and stopping
in a real wheel.  Then they show a close-up of the ball
on the winning number.

They offer an option to skip this video presentation
if you want to play faster.

The 'problem' is that it's still a computer that choose the winning number,
so it's still an RNG...
