Title: 2nd opinion please.
Post by: Mr. Investable on September 12, 2013, 08:52:39 AM
Please see attached 100,000 spins from my latest RNG System "stddevevens".

1) Simulation play on a No Zero table £0.05-£2000 unit table (Betvoyager).
2) Even money bets.
3) stddevevens bet units min 0.05 and the max unit around 50.
4) Starting bankroll $200/£200/200euros.

I've had consistant wins in practice with this system but I would welcome a second opinion before I go live.
If anyone can see an obvious flaw I've overlooked, or if you agree it appears to be a solid grinder your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Guys!

Only provide feedback if you provide the necessary info on the method/system.

Just outline the method, and they you will get oodles of feedback!

Far easier to make a small programing error than a critical error in judgment.

Looks a good cyclic bet what ever it is.
Obviously, the title suggests its a Stand Deviation Even bet....

So....does he wait till a STD of 'X' appears, and then only bets within a narrow band of distribution?

But........when to start...........when to pause............and when to resume are the key questions!

They must be variable

You pretty much got it. But my observations of the stddev are that trying to predict the distribution fluctuations are about as effective as trying to predict the appearance or non appearance of a layout.
So, I try to ride them out using a bet strategy that survives the extreme deviations and returns. That is the technical bit. After 300,000 spins the above version crashed so I'm currently working on a drawdown break in the betting strategy... kinda tricky

Roulette=Kinda Tricky............

That's it in a nutshell.

What was the bet selection?

The bet selection is still the same but I had no cap on how far I would ride the deviation/drawdown. It went too far for table limits and a sensible starting bankroll. So know I need to work out a drawdown limit.

Looks to me like you answered your own question there, Mr. Investable.

No one's going to play systems with 25,000+ unit drawdowns.

I have the best of advise for you playing this at Betvoyager.  Don't, you will get massacured

save your money and go to a live casino and put half on Red, if you win go home if you loose give the other half to your wife or girlfriend and send them shopping
