Title: help please
Post by: erdnase on August 20, 2008, 08:47:40 PM
Hey all

I have just downloaded the roulette xtreme programme and just dnt quite understand how to code my system.  Basically i am playing an adaptation of the martingale system.  I have managed to extend the number of bets so i can "double" around 13 times depeding on the limit(min bet £1, max unit £1000).  basically i would begin by betting 1 unit (of 100u$nit bankroll) on an even money bet, if i lost i would double, if i win i start again.  now when ive lost for the seventh time in a row, instead of doubling and trying to earn 1 unit, i am now only tryin to recoup my losses at the eighth bet, so for example if i wuz betting 1 unit, the seqeunce would go 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,127,254,508.  as you can see i can afford more losses this way.  now for the complicated (i think) part.  there are 3 even money bets on the table, red/black, odd/even, ho/low.  now i would like to track how each one perfrom and switch between bets.  e.g when one loses 3time in a row, if not betting on that spot already play this spot ("double" also if on a losing streak)  in theory you are betting at the fourth loss, so this extends your noraml 8losses double limit chance of 1in319spin to 1in2128 spins a good jump.

I am also using this data to evaluate the software, if i like the summary i am buying a license.

any help appreicated.

Wish I could help you out but I've got no clue (or very little) when it comes to RX programming.  But for the tracking part, RX already can do that...

if you go Roulette Xtreme, and under the "Statistics" choose "even money" (or click F3)
This will give you a chart on all 3 even money bets and how they are preforming.  Hope this helps a little.

hi erdnase,

welcome to the forum.

I can code this, but it's just a loosing system.
When I (and many others) discovered martingale, I tried many variations of it.
Eventually over the time, all of them will fail.

yes, you get many 'steps' by waiting for 4 misses. However, you lose the hits you are getting up to those 4 misses. (which is the majority)

The only successful martingale I can think of is, you wait for about 15 misses, then go on 8 step progression on high-stakes.

Cheers,
Roulette787.

Hi all

thanks for the great information.
I know this is a losing system, but marten jensen book seems quite reliable(i am still VERY skectipcal on the playing the systems for profit chapter, and the system chapters doesnt seem ti have any technical analysis on the systems) and i am just wondering how it would perform in the very logn run and by playing the odds (not to be confused with the law of indepent events).  I was thinking if your stop loss is your intial bankroll (of 1000) would you have an overall gain after all the small wins and  a few major losses in the long term (say 9 sessions of 2000spins).  also how would this hold up with no zero on the wheel or a zero % house edge as offered by some casinos.

I would be very greatful if you could code this, one for a european wheel and one for a wheel with no zero.  Even though it is a losing system i would like to see the statisics at the ends of all the sessions.

thanks again for all the great replys.

HI erdnase and welcome, two very important points I wish to express, point 1, don't play this system and second you've truly landed at the right forum for true help and advice, once again welcome from berliner bruce   PS THE SYSTEM YOU ARE PLAYING IS CALLED A DELAYED   MARTINGALE,  just keeps you away from the house edge for a little longer

Hey

thanks for all the great replys.  I had heard of the martyngale before (i know it was a losing system as you are playing to a negative expectation) i had never heard of this before and just was not sure if the small win would cancel the big losses.  Are there any systems that would win in the long run.

Also one point i am still unsure about, is it possible to take adavantage of a wheel with no zeros? i am certain it must be but am unsure how to go about it.  all help appreicated.

great forum.  anybody here interested in roulette prediction?

Roulette prediction?

Are you talking crystal balls or neural networks?

Or something else?

talking about physiscs, visual tracking and roulette prediction computers.  This seems much more feasible than looking for a betting pattern to overcome the negative expectation of the game.
