Title: FORBIDDEN
Post by: hermes on August 27, 2008, 10:54:31 PM
Just 10 minutes ago I tried to access the roulette forum of Steve Hourmousis and it told me: Forbidden, you have no access to the forum. What's going on. Did he completely lost his mind? Poor guy I fill sorry for him.

I doubt it's personal.  I'm getting the same message, too.  I also doubt he's lost his mind, but from what I've been reading lately, I wouldn't rule out karma.  Of course, I've been wrong before.

"You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Most of the time when that particular error message comes up it means you did not enter that page correctly.

For instance, a Website has 10 pages.  Page 2-10 can only be accessed if one goes there via page #1.

There reasons are many.  Anything from forcing you to see the ads on page #1 to having to see rules/regulations.

You can back track by removing the last thing after the last "/" and keep on removing text from the right side until you get to the main page.
