Title: Exciting things are happening on this forum!
Post by: TwoCatSam on September 12, 2008, 01:37:43 AM
Friends.....

Are you guys excited?  Well, I am!  We've got about five or six systems which seem to be working.  We've got some people working hard to prove their idea/system works.  Everyone is using the [table syntax to align their posts.  Some number their test and all date them.  winkel puts in a scrolling Excel sheet somehow.  I'll not try to name everyone, as I might leave out someone.  We all know who I'm talking about.

Since I've been associated with this forum I've never see such optimism and work!  I just want to encourage everyone to keep it up!

Let's  get to the point where the question is not "Can I win today?" but "Which system do I choose to win with today?"

Oh, and one other thing------Einstein never worked as hard as we do at roulette!

Hey sam, yes I see that many systems are very good and look to be very profitable.. If you need any help with testing, I can help you :)

I noticed you're working on the G.U.T.   Working and posting on this would be a great help to us all.  You may be already; it's early here!

I agree, very exciting things seem to be happening on this forum. I only wish I had the time to test out all these promising systems...

Rest assured I will test the G.U.T.  I'm just a little overloaded at the present.  Our yard is literally washing toward Texas because of the hurricanes leaving their mark on us.  And we're a long ways inland!  Got to keep up the other things in life, too.

C. Dinner

(Dusting off the ol' soapbox!)

If I have any hand in steering this forum in a direction, it will be that of accurate testing.  Each person can't test everything forever; we'd never place a bet.  When a person posts a system and someone begins to rave about it's effectiveness, we need to be able to totally believe in that person.  What this means to me is this:  If a trusted member says, "It's junk" I don't have to waste my time.  If he says, "Hey, we need to look at this!", then I know it's worth the time spent testing.

So, I encourage people to politely question each other on the accuracy of their tests just like I did hammy.  No one has to call anyone a liar or question the person's integrity, but saying, "May I look over your shoulder?" is no insult.

And, yes, call me out anytime you like.  If I'm wrong, I want to know.

Well i for one really appreciate your efforts 2cats.Before this thread was started i had meant to thank you for all your testing, and all those others out there !! I would love to be able to devote more time to testing but i only have time to check in and read the latest at the moment.

So thank you for all your testing,thinking,re-testing,headscratching,re-re-testing and posting of results. That is why this forum differs from certain others for the better.

When I say I wish I had the time to test these promising systems, I mean it. But unfortunately this is not possible.

I don't think I've ever been particulary impolite, called anyone an outright liar or questioned a person's integrity on this forum though; but if I ever feel it is necessary to call you or anyone else out, believe me I will. Occasionaly, I'll say when a system should be avoided, but this is only as warning to others because I have got personal experience of such system.

But when someone like yourself or other trusted members/moderators say "this looks interesting!", I certainly take notice. And if I've got the time, I'll test them myself and give my opinions.

Of course I really appreciate all your hard work and enthusiasm toward testing Sam. I also appreciate the efforts of many people on this forum. But if my posts don't always express this, don't take this the wrong way. I've read so many system claims by so may people over the years that I can't help but be cynical sometimes...and I'm not just talking about roulette systems...

As far as I can see, nobody is working harder than you Samster when it comes to testing and posting test results from multiple systems. So big respect. If anyone can swiftly dismiss a donkey from a thoroughbred, it's you.

It takes one to know one ?? [smiley=lolk.gif]

On a serious note the testing Matty, CPS10 & yourself do (as well as many others) is one of the main reasons this forum is growing at such a rapid rate..... 8)

Again tipping my Fez in your direction.....

I think we are making tremendous progress in testing systems and proving if it's possible to have long term winning systems. I think the real excitement will come next year, when all the work we are putting in now will highlight those systems that continue to make a profit and as far as I am aware such an event has never happened on a gambling forum.

Would anyone like to see into the future and predict whether or not something spectacular will be the talking point this time next year.

It will be interesting to look back and see whose prediction was the most accurate.

Mr Chips

What do you think yourself Mr. Chips? With the 4selecta you quit impress me. I really don't know how the system works. But Sam's testing seems impressive.

For myself, I'm still working everyday to find that more winning than losing bet/formula  ;). As we are all doing that, maybe next year something great will happen. Maybe sooner, maybe later, maybe never. Time will tell.

JHM,

I can't really comment on the 4Selecta as that is for others to comment on. I do predict the traffic on this forum will substantially increase next year how is that for a prediction?

Mr Chips

Ehhh a logic explanation, due the fact that the internet is still growing every year [smiley=2/biggrinsmiley.gif]

Jur and Mr. Chips

At this point I'm not quite ready to pronounce the 4Selecta to be a long term winner.  (First we would have to define long term.)  I will say this, however.
I've tested a lot of systems.  Never has one made it as far as the 4Selecta and "my" Chicco/murph.  (Neither is "mine".  I just put them together.)  I never even tested Gamlet or the Lw system this long.

Over the number of spins I've tested, all being randomly collected, these two systems still produce profits.  In the number of spins I've checked, I think the wheel has pretty much done what it will do.

We'll see.  But come October, I will start again to bet real money on these two systems.  For those who believe me, there will be screen shots and movies; for those who don't, you probably never will.  Oh, if I lose you'll believe me!  Only if I win will I be suspect!

I love it!!

when all the work we are putting in now will highlight those systems that continue to make a profit and as far as I am aware such an event has never happened on a gambling forum.>>>

Or in a casino either. You do realize, of course, that if you achieve this never before attained lofty goal, you will either cause the casino to take drastic measures to prevent you from winning or you will cause the game in question to be withdrawn from the casinos entirely.

My personal opinion is, the casinos aren't too worried about it. But who knows, maybe you're smarter than all the true math genius's throughout history who have tried and failed.

The casino's are of course only interested in maintaining their huge profits and will only react if something in particular that they can identify causes their profits to decline.>>>

Thats fine, but you're dealing with them on a one to one basis when you play. They are concerned about consistant winners and will take measures to stop them on a one to one basis. Its has nothing to do their profits or bottom line, they aren't worried about that. What they are worried about is people they see on a regular basis who take more money home with them than they leave in the table drop box..

That's why it's important to go to different casino's>>>

Thats not possible for many people. Also, because you made your world shaking system public, you will have hundreds and then thousands playing it for every dime they can every time they play.

Hi Spike,

The above quote interested me  :-\ Let's say for arguments sake I win 4 times in 4 visits to the same casino my progression is only a small one (let's say 1/2) I win 20% of my bankroll and always leave....

Again for arguments sake I'm betting 10/20, so therefore I'm about £2,160 up.....

I'm intrigued what measures could the casino take to stop me??

Of course all this is make believe  :-[ but I would like you to tell me what they would do......

Thanking you in advance for your reply....... ;)

Gee, Mr. Chips, you must be one lucky player.  Then, again, the entire country of England can easily fit in almost any one of the USA's states. Last  count we had something like 50 of them.  Only a few have class III casinos where table games are legal.

Not all of us have the luxury of having multiple casinos close by.

My closest casino cluster is a 9-hour drive one-way.

I take your "hundreds and thousands" comment as typical Spike sarcasm.>>

Not at all. You act like there are dozens of winning systems out there and nobody is playing the 'hard' ones. There are NO systems that win consistantly, so you better believe that no matter how hard a true winning system is, the casinos will be drowning in it sooner than later.

Look at card counting. To do it properly, counting is extremely hard to do. Only a very small percentage of those that attempt it actually do it correctly. Yet it changed BJ forever.

Don't kid yourself. If you have a winning roulette system and post it on a public board, the game of roulette will change forever. But as I said, nobody is holding their breath.

They will hassle you about almost nothing, hoping to make you angry and give them a reason to stop your play. They will make you bet every spin or hand if you're sitting at the table. They will use intimidation, stop comping you, be rude to you at every opportunity. You can say, so what, it won't bother me. But it will.

Don't worry, though, I'm sure you will never be is such a position.

You could avoid all that by learning to play craps and if you don't want any hassles - don't shoot the dice.

Or play in a GC regulated casino where changing the rules in mid-stream will get the casino fined.  The fines are far more than you will take from them by playing.

You can't compare BJ to Roulette. When you're counting cards you know what's coming. Roulette you never know what's coming. Therefore you can't just make a winning system. We have some good systems here. Next to a system you need to know how to handle it, proper money management and self control. And than you still need luck on your side.
