...sent me the user name and password and all. Has money in it and to to the testing I am going to do, I'll have to tell you how much. 166 Not sure if it's Euro, pounds or dollars. Too tired last night to think
I consider this the Forum's test money. Since I will be playing RNG exclusively and have all the time I need to bet, I will simultaneously play the 4Selecta, my chicco/murph and the G.U.T. Before I start the test, I will lay out the rules and stick to them religiously. Naturally there will be a daily posting to the testing area.
This person says it's an honest RNG. I sincerely hope so as I may/may not be able to open my own account play for real with my money. Not even sure if they accept Americans.
I will keep record of all spins and post them. I will work this as long as the money lasts or until it gets so big he wants the account back. I will not change the password so he can withdraw anytime he wants.
Again, I am honored!
Thanks, )(&&^&%(_(&^&

good luck to you both..... 8)
Good luck, Sam. 8)
(online) Casino owners are keeping an eye on this forum too offcourse. They give you a account and money to 'test' their RNG ;)

This was a forum member who will remain anonymous unless he chooses to identify himself. It's real money, not play money.
Mr Chips
Yes, it will be confusing. However, the benefactor wants me to test the RNG to see if I feel it is honest. By using three systems with a pretty darn good track record, I can tell if the casino is beating me unfairly---
Since this is RNG, I will have all the time necessary to study the systems in question and make the bets. I will devote one computer exclusively to this test so if I have to stop for some reason during a session, I can just put it all to sleep and come back later.
I am working now to created the sheets necessary to record all bets and win/loss records.
Sam
Quotethe benefactor wants me to test the RNG to see if I feel it is honest. By using three systems with a pretty darn good track record, I can tell if the casino is beating me unfairly---
Please don't take this the wrong way, but this is nonsense. You can't judge the fitness of the RNG by playing three systems. For starters, not one of those systems will perform any better than random betting would in the long run. Secondly, RNGs require several thousands of trials to be adequately tested. Something tells me that you're only going to be playing for about one or two hundred spins.
You simply don't test RNGs using these methods. There are far better methods for testing the fitness of the RNGs. There are websites where you can run the RNG through a battery of legitimate tests.
For more information, search Google: Testing RNGs.
Good Luck.
-Herb
It would take some patience. Lets say he bets 6 numbers.
If Ray is out of pure luck is having a positive 3 SD he would be positive up to ~ 60.000 spins (placed bets). If he should stay positive after 60.000 spins it would require + 3.1 .........4........5........6 etc. SD as the spin sample increases. Not very likely. The odds that he is positive after 10.000 spins arent very likely either.
I wouldn`t say it is the easyiest way to test a system.
QuoteIf anything is "nonsense" it's your " not one of those systems will perform any better than random betting would in the long run". Why haven't you challenged the results that I have produced in the 4Selecta thread?
The people in the thread appeared as though they were having some harmless fun, so I didn't want to come in just to burst the bubble. Besides, I've already told you in the past that the system isn't mathematically sound.
QuoteI deal in facts not theoretical maths fiction.
No you don't.
QuoteWhat we are interested in is whether the three systems can make a profit using the particular RNG concerned.
Honestly, all three of them are destined to fail. However, along the way you might have some fun testing them.
Good Luck. :)
-Herb
We don't speak the same language. It's not possible for me to effectively demonstrate it to you. I would use mathematics. You, however, would argue that the laws of physics and math don't apply to you. I could also instantly simulate what you do, but you would likely argue that I had somehow fudged the results.
You seem quite sure of the system, so let's try this:
Why don't you put up some money, and demonstrate how effective your system is by playing 10k spins on Dublinbet?
This would enable everyone to witness the effectiveness of the system. With a little luck, you might even make a little money.
What do you think? Care to give it a try?
-Herb
Mr. Chips,
I've provided the proof in the past. I see no reason to continue this argument.
Good luck Sam. :)
;) Good luck Sam all the best to you mate!
Thanks, guys......
Good luck mate!
Thank you, Mr. rat!
Folks and people, friends and neighbors..........
I am going to make a screen capture movie of every last bet I make. Sheets will be posted whereby anyone can check me out. As winkel says, this will be as clinical as I know how to make it.
The films will be entitled Session 1, Session 2 and so on.....
Should I have to stop a session, I cannot pause the recorder, so I will have Session 1.1 and Session 1.2 and so on..... If you see a period, you know the session was not complete and to look for another.
I don't expect anyone to view all these; they are made so that I may review my bets. It's just if anyone wants to, they will be there.
Sam
Covering EVERY base eh Sam.....
Does this start the 1st October or earlier???
Can you keep that "I won't bet in September" promise???
Everybody stay tuned.....
Mr Xman!!
Your remembered!! Yes, I must not bet until October 1st. I am getting all the charts set up and ordering some new editing software for my movies.
Sam
Was only yanking your chain Sam ;)
Best of luck & thanking you in advance for all the effort to follow...... 8)
As always it's appreciated......[smiley=thumbsup.gif]
thought I felt jerking......
There is no proof and you know it, just endless maths theory>>>
Herb, everyone knows that math only applies to the casino, not the player. The casino has built Vegas and Macau totally on sound math. The player doesn't need math, though, he needs conviction and guts.
Math is for suckers..[smiley=3D-Smil/36_2_15.gif] [smiley=3D-Smil/36_2_19.gif] [smiley=3D-gros-anim/36_2_34.gif]
Ok, here's what we've learned from the thread.
1. Math only applies to the casino, not the player. The casinos have built Vegas and Macau on sound math, by relying on their built in house edge over the player.
2. However, the player doesn't need math. He only needs to be blissfully ignorant and blowing spit bubbles. Hey, this trick not only works in the casino, but also with your checking account! When they tell you that your out of money and that your account is overdrawn, just say, "Back off mathboy!"
3. The laws of physics and math that govern our known Universe do not apply to Mr. Chips. He was recently provided exemption status from these laws.
4. RNGs can be adequately tested and proven fair by testing them with one of three roulette systems. TwoCatSam can adequately test these rngs by using one of Mr. Chips systems. Don't worry, it shouldn't take too long. We should have the answer after just a couple hundred spins!
5. Gambler's fallacy doesn't effect you, if you just ignore it.
6. Most gambling systems work, if you have enough "If" statements within them. "If you play on Tuesday, but not Wed.. If you have just the right progression. If you have a large enough bankroll. If you would have bet the 11 instead of the 12. If you would have bet more when you were losing. If you would have bet more when you were winning. If you have a triangle. If you have a sun, a square, and a triangle. If you would have bet the second crossing pattern instead of the first crossing pattern. If you would leave when you are winning 50 units. If you quit after you are winning just one unit. If you could use the Atilia. If the Rng was fair, etc...."
I like it! ;D
-Herb.
OK........
I'm having a bit of a problem deciding what to do. I'd like input, even from Herb. Here's the way my mind is working:
If I play the G.U.T, I have to wait 20 to 25 spins for a crossing. How do I spin the wheel? Well one way is to bet a unit on the first dozen and a unit on the large numbers. This leaves seven uncovered. I can tell you from past experience with the RNG, it will beat that seven numbers to a pulp and take most of the bankroll while I'm trying to get down a bet.
If I use the 4Selecta, I only bet every third spin at most, so two out of three I have the same problem.
If I use my Chicco/murph, I have to be able to walk away and come back to a different wheel. (Same with 4Selecta) Since the RNG is never different, what does one do?
I am thinking about using the VLS Lw Methodology. But even with that, there are times you just take a loss and walk away. Using RNg when you walk back the next day, you haven't gone at all!!
This RNG stuff is really new to me. I'm at a loss for what to do.
Because of the "jump" feature, I'm thinking the G.U.T is the way to go. It alone. Doing that would also let me chart what the RNG does on those times when I am making bets just to spin the wheel.
Any ideas, anyone?
Sam
Gambler's fallacy doesn't effect you, if you just ignore it.>>
Very true.
>>if you have enough "If" statements within them>>
You forgot the most important ones. If I had the right dealer, if I wasn't tired, if I hadn't been drinking, if the music wasn't so loud, if I been here two hours ago, if my wife/girlfriend would quit bugging me, if it wasn't such a long way to the casino, if if if. When you win its your skill at the game, but loss has a thousand reasons.
BTW, 166 units is not enough to even begin to prove anything. Thats 16 $10 bets or 33 $5 bets, which is next to nothing.
Spike, just a quick fyi: 166 units at a $1 unit is $166.00
166 units at a $10.units is $1,660.00
A unit can be any amount that you choose.
But yes, 166 UNITS is not enought to measure anything.
Herb
You are probably right.
Sam
If you're going to do it, try dividing your bankroll into at least 500 units for each system play.
-Good Luck.
-Herb
OK, I am thinking along these lines...........
winkel says G.U.T works as well on RNG as real wheel
G.U.T has been tested on RNG........the others have not.
Here's the idea: It takes about 30 spins before I get a crossing I like on G.U.T. Why not use an RNG for those 30 spins? If I were to use RNG spins and then switched to real money spins when my crossing appears, what would be the difference? An RNG is an RNG no matter what.
If I do this, I will make a video and show only the bet being placed and the spin for real money. No need to show you a screen filling with numbers.
Naturally--in the unlikely event I lose the money--we will never truly know if the machine just beat me or the G.U.T. failed or I failed to use it right.
'Course if I win, I'm just lucky! No chance winkel could be right.
Sam
TCS
You'll notice that when you switch from RNG play mode to RNG real mode .... the sequence of numbers on the marquee are not the same. You're playing an entirely new game. And also RNG fun and RNG real are not the same ( so they say ).
Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in seeing this 166 units is partly mine ::)
TTT
A unit can be any amount that you choose.>>>
Every online casino I ever played at had a $5 and usually a $10 min bet. What casino lets you bet 10 cents???
Spike
QuoteWhat casino lets you bet 10 cents???
This is in response to which comment ?
TTT
TTT
No, no...
I am thinking about opening a second RNG on my desktop and using it......just pausing the real play. Maybe it's a silly idea..
Sam
TCS
May not be all that silly .... 2 RNG's spitting out the same sequence of numbers ... somewhere in a parallel universe.
Forgive me...I get carried away sometimes...one day they'll carry ME right to the looney bin.
TTT
Still, may not be that silly.
Right or wrong, win or lose, I've got to nail this down.
I will play my Chicco/murph system. Why?
I have studied this over many hundreds of spins. (I know that's not enough. I won't live long enough for [highlight]enough[/highlight] to occur.) That being said, I know the ebb and flow of the system; when to get out and when to stay. I will see if I see the same things on RNG as in real play at Riverbelle and company.
Here is the plan. I will use an RNG of my choosing to get the first 24 spins to prime the Leon Pro 2 software. When I have my first bet, I will begin the screen capture recording. I will play until I see an exit, either low or high, as I have been doing with the real spins. On the times when Chicco posts the blue screen with the "no bet" or whatever it is in Italian, I will enter the following bet: a unit on the first dozen and a unit on the large numbers.
THIS TEST WILL PROVE NOTHING!
I will be the only person who truly knows if it mirrors real play. Mr Chips and winkel both have received tremendous ridicule from some members for their efforts and I expect nothing short of that.
I am done with this decision; I will rest my mind on it until at least 12:01 on October 1st.
Thanks to all of you who have wished me well.
An aside to the person who gave me this account/money: They tell me I can open one of my own! America is opening up!
Good day!

Hi Herb,
Same old charmer! I must say that the systems you have posted are flawless! They are pure mathematical perfection - a reflection of your intelligence, charm and and brillaint imagination! The cold logic, the clever strategies, are a stunning example of your ingenuity. The kindness and generousity of your very humble advice and contributions to other people's endeavours is a shining example of your very noble intentions.
The warm tribute you paid to Winkel is a typical example of the kindness, consideration and encouragement which you dispense so generously.
I have a favour to ask, could you please repost your first masterpiece? I can't find it anywhere.

That's might decent of you. I have four accounts of my own open with my own money. This fellow is a believer in this particular casino and the RNG play. I have always cast a doubtful eye toward any RNG. He is wanting me to see if I think the RNG is fair.
See, when on line, I am actually him. That way the laws of the U.S. do not come into play. No money transfers.
Thanks a lot, jerek. Your compliment is worth more than the money!
