Just an idea for playing Black/Red - or other even bets.
following 3 different patterns, each played in 3 different ways.
P1 P2 P3

P1: bet color, if it misses twice in a row, but wins the 3rd, then proceed with the progression as shown.
P2: bet color, if it misses 3 times in a row, then proceed with progression as shown.
P3. to accomodate to the cross hits, keep betting 1 unit. If hit, then bet again, if lose then bet same color, same amount.

Just an idea. Works well and you are not stuck waiting for a certain 3 color miss: This allows you to bet all the time as long as you keep track of the patterns. It also enables you to go further progression wise. If need be, you could alter the progression in P1 - P3, by prolonging the runs and lowering the values or spread them out more evenly.

Lets assume we keep to the color Red in this play.
B - Bet 1 / Loss / BR = 1000 - 1 / 999
B - Bet 1 / Loss / BR = 999 - 1 / 998
R - Bet 1 / Win / BR = 998 - 1 +2 / 999
R - Bet 2 / Win / BR = 999 - 2 + 4 / 1001 ( Since we broke even + 1 we reset the bettingpattern )
R - Bet 1 / Win / BR = 1001 -1 + 2/ 1002
R - Bet 1 / Win / BR = 1002 -1 + 2/ 1003
B - Bet 1 / Lose / BR = 1003 - 1 / 1002
R - Bet 1 / Win / BR = 1002 - 1 +2 / 1003
R - Bet 1 / Win / BR = 1003 - 1 / +2 / 1004
Lets analyse the play.
BBRRRBRR
The first 3 spins : BBR indicates that we are dealing with the aforementioned pattern P1, since we lost twice and won on 3rd.
Hence we raise the wager on spin 4 with +1 unit.
4th spin "R" wins so either you reset and start over or continue, depends on how aggressive you are.
New cycle begins upon reset : RBR(spin 5, 6, 7 ). This qualifies as P3, since spin 4 and 6 are winners and spin 5 is a cross.
Nothing exceptionaly here, keep betting 1.
Spin 7 ( last spin ) is a win and another continuum of former pattern play, P3.
So in short:
You have 3 patterns that you need to dress accordingly.
Each play consists of a cycle of 3 numbers/colors.
If you have two consecutive losses in a row, then you are playing withing the rules of P1
If you have crossings ( R/B/R/B/R/B/R ) then you are playing within the rules of P3
If you have 3 consecutive losses in a row, then you are playing within the rules of P2.
