Here is what you need to do to beat roulette on a $500 maximum bet table...
1. You need at least a $1,200 bankroll
2. You need Plenty of Patience!
3. Self Discipline (You get ahead $125 you quit and go home - You don't get greedy!) Set your own win goals.
4. You play on the outside... Black/Red - Odd/Even - High/Low - Dozens and Columns once in awhile.
5. You use a Grand Martingale betting system - $10/$25/$50/$100/$200/$500 there are others. On a 6X Martingale there are 64 different possible combinations that can come up while betting black and red. Only one combination can beat you!
6. You must not play "Scared"! Smash the casino in the mouth when the time is right!
7. Roulette is a game of streaks! Play follow the color its your best bet! If 4 blacks have just came up in a row then your next bet is black! It is that simple!
8. When you first enter a casino make small $5 and $10 bets as you want to get a feel for things. As you start to win then raise your bet amounts.
9. You must have some sort of clairvoyance ability. It helps bunches if you have correct hunches!
10. Play in casinos that have 6 to 9 tables going at once.
11. Play at fast tables! Even if it is only you and the dealer at the table. I like playing at tables where there is only me and the dealer present!
12. Slow tables full of people and stacks of chips everywhere will make you lose your patience!
13. You walk from table to table and never sit down! You float like a Butterfly and sting like a Bee!
14. You want to leave that one particular table you're playing at before that table turns on you!
15. Breakup your casino trip into sessions!
16. Go to the window and cash in your winning chips after each session. This cash will go home with you! And take breaks between sessions.
17. Some will disagree with this but this is the way I do it since I go to the same casino 3 to 4 times a week. Keep your bankroll in chips at all times. This way you don't have to buy chips everytime you go to the casino. Exposing yourself to the cameras with large sums of money is not good in my opinion. And sometimes it can take 5 to 10 minutes to get yourself $1500 in chips. Verify, Verify, Verify my A$$!! :-) This way you start each trip with the same bankroll amount!
18. If four blacks have came up in a row and I make a $25 bet on black then most dealers will keep spinning the ball and wheel at their same normal speeds and a black number will most likely come up again at this one table that I like to play at. But if I make a big $300 bet then alot of dealers will slow the wheel down on me, so they can get a red number and break the string of black numbers. Or even possibly hit a green on me. So how do you fight against these dealers that want to see you lose? Simple... If the dealer continues to spin the wheel and ball at her normal regular speeds after I have already bet $25 on black, then I just add two black chips on top of my green chip after she releases the ball. It worked last night! 33 Black How sweet! :0)
18. And always keep track of your casino results on a spreadsheet.
I have not lost since early July. Winning 32 times in a row.
Average Hit & Run per trip is $130
These are only some of my secrets!
Feel free to use them and I hope you all win!

Cheers Lucky Strike
I just got back from the casino.
I played at my lucky table the whole time with no other players present.
I was in the casino for only 60 minutes. (It is a big casino)
I bet black all 14 times ( 6 wins and 8 loses ) $105 profit
I broke it up into 4 sessions.
Session #1
+10 -25 +50 (#35 saved me on the last bet)
$35 profit (Then I left the table)
Session #2
-25 +50 -25 -50 +100 (#10 saved me on the last bet)
A "green zero" came up on bet #4 (black being on both sides of it)
$50 profit (Then I left the table)
Session #3
I went back to the same table and a Black Guy was standing at my table drinking a cup of coffee and talking to the dealer and not even playing. He was standing right where I normally stand when I play at this table. This immediately gave me bad vibes! Something was telling me not to play at this table till he leaves. But I played anyway because all the other tables were either full or half full. Being ahead $85 I started small...
-5 -10 -25 -50 +100 (#15 saved me on the last bet)
My vibes were right on!
$10 profit (I left the table)
Session #4
I went back to the same table. That Black Guy was still there getting high on his cup of coffee and not even playing while talking to the dealer.
+10 (#26 came up)
$10 profit (I left the table)
I went home with $105 cash in my pocket and my winning streak still intact.
After each session I always go to one of the Men's Rooms and complete my journal. (away from camera's) A black pen and a folded up piece of paper does the job. Then when I get home I transfer my journal info into my spreadsheet.
Guys, this is how you do it. You "nickle - dime" the casino. Try not to put too much money at risk. Save your $500 bets when you really need them!
MM
I am glad you are doing well with this but it is suicidal IMO. I was at Harrahs playing Rapid Roulette this weekend. If I played black with a grand martingale as you do I would have been murdered. I played for a couple hours and at one time the table went 9 reds, then 0, then 4 more reds, then another 00, and finally a black came up. This would have been 15 losses in a row. What would you have done in this situation? You could not have kept doubling because of the table limit.
I assume he would have been playing red, as it was streaking.

Our playing styles are different. You sit at one table for two hours, I never do that. (Good Luck to you and for each of us our own) The table I played at last night had black as the dominate color when I got there so I played black. That table I played at last night has been spitting out massive amounts of black numbers in the last month! So I was comfortable betting black from the get go. On that table I played at last night I won 7 straight $500 bets on it this summer betting ODD! That table is no longer spitting out ODD numbers like it was this summer. Now that table has been spitting out black numbers! Its called know your casino and know your tables! I have sort of a Home Court advantage going on in this one casino that I always go to.
Good Luck!

quote from original post # 18 ".....But if I make a big $300 bet then alot of dealers will slow the wheel down on me, so they can get a red number and break the string of black numbers....." is an excellent point.
Whether you are tracking a repeating trend or more so in my case following wheel sectors, the last thing that you would want to do is bring attention to the croup of their rythmic spinning style. Hopefully they are unaware of it. Large wagers may make them cognizant of it. Bet large when the ball is in motion, if possible. RP
Forgive me for my ignorance here but surely a dealer has no control over hitting red/black. Maybe aiming for the zero area is possible but can they control the colour of a pocket seperated from it's neighbours by approx 1mm?

You are correct no dealer has control over hitting a red or black square.
This is what makes roulette a great game!
But there is something a dealer can do to try and upset the apple cart.
For instance if 4 black numbers have just came up in a row and I walk up and bet $500 on black before the dealer has set her wheel and ball in motion she can slow the wheel and ball down and try to hit the 00 sector by changing her release point. The 00 sector has three consecutive losing squares for me since I am betting black. Many casinos believe that by changing wheel & ball speeds that this will breakup runs of colors or maybe breakup "hot" winning streaks that a certain player may be on.
Whenever you see a dealer slow the wheel down to a crawl then she is out to beat you and take your money! Everybody Beware!

So, you wagered 100 to profit 10, still betting black after 4 reds was obviously streaking ? Isn't that contradicting your "streaking" rule #7 ?
Also, if you think the dealer is slowing the wheel deliberately because of your bets, why not play at a crowded table where the dealer is not paying attention to only your bets ? Since you are only making a few bets to reach your target why do you care how fast the table plays ?
Sammy, you said :

I wagered 100 to profit 10 and to win back the other 4 bets I had just lost.
When a gambler loses a bet don't they try to win it back from the casino?
Rule #7 I did not make myself very clear. Its when you first walk up to a roulette table and see 4 blacks in a row that your next bet is black if you decide to make a bet at that table.
At crowded tables the dealers usually spin the ball and wheel at the same speeds everytime. If I make a big bet at a crowded table it will be after the dealer releases the ball. If I lose I walk away instantly and I probably won't play at that table for the next few days. For the most part I don't like playing at slow crowded tables. But I will jump in once in awhile to make only one bet if I see a nice trend taking place. I don't like standing around watching those dummies sprinkle their chips all over the carpet. This is not my cup of tea! When I'm in a casino I am looking at the Roulette scoreboards! And thinking of what move I will make on which table next!
Find a table that is nice to you! And keep going back to that table!
This is very important!
MM
MM,
Yes, ok I understand rule#7. So if you had walked up to the table and seen those same 4 reds that you were betting black on, your first bet would have been red, right ?
One more question, if the black guy standing there talking to the dealer had been a red guy, would you have bet red ?! :D ... just kidding ! ;)
An old pro gambler once told me the only way to bet red/black in roulette is alternating bets rbrbrbrb with only a 6 step martingale progression, but if you lose the first 3 bets, stop and wait for that zigzag to break, then continue with your 4th bet etc. Start the progression over after a win. I have won 8 or 9 bets in a row when you catch the zigzag in your favour. Set a quick target and quit.
cheers,
hammy
Sam, did you married the Clair Avoidance? She could be a good partner on the tables.
Marty, there are no friendly tables in casinos, all want your money. The betting after 4 blacks is suicidal because the streaks don't go to 5 and more very often. Very rigid idea. After seeing 4 blacks in row I would say is too late to bet black now, the train is gone. You have to catch the streak on the beginning, not chase the tail.
That's my humble opinion
Hermes

No, Claire and I split up! Too bad; so sad!

Another interesting method of playing a Martingale (if you're so inclined) is to make the wheel repeat itself six times in a row. Example:rrbrbb. Now bet it can't do the exact same thing in the next six spins. Bet bbrbrr. Each time you win, look back at the last six and start over. Or mix up all three EC propositions.
Believe it or don't, the wheel will beat you sooner or later. But you knew that......
Have a hammy/sammy day!
Samster
Also guys there is an old French way of betting black/red.
If you're afraid of getting hurt by chopping colors example=> RBRBRBRB then bet the 2nd color that just came up.
MM
"Believe it or don't, the wheel will beat you sooner or later."
Samster
I'll never believe that.....
Ummmm
In the context I put it? Making the wheel follow six EC propositions? I can assure you, the wheel will produce six and then six more just like them. If you ask it to produce the six opposites it will. Or six every other spin, it will. Using a Martingale, no matter what you bet the wheel it can't do, it will show you it can! Or you will hit the table limit or expend your bankroll.
Untold millions, maybe billions, have been lost on the Martingale.
Oh, well. Another polemic!!
Sam
Of course, you are right Sammy !!
And yes, I had alot of success with the betting sequence opposite of the last 5 or 6 black/red. I remember someone putting that thoery out in the old forum before VLS. forum. From my experience however the martingale with roulette eventually loses a huge amount, but that's where money mangement come in. Martingale past 6 steps is really suicide !
hammy
Perhaps in that context, Sam, yes.
I (and so have many others) have invested too much time to be discouraged by this contraption. If humans built the thing, surely humans can defeat it.
Roulette can be beaten.
It has been beaten by many people in the past and it will continue to be beaten by many people.
I have not lost in over 3 months.
Thats because I "Hit and Run" all the time.
I play "not to lose" roulette!
Smart Gamblers play not to lose!
How much they win is not their number#1 priority.
Their #1 priority is not to lose!
They don't try to bust the casino everytime they enter one!
In his book "Roulette Playing To Win" by Brett Morton he teaches you how to win consistently by betting only on the outside bets!
After reading his book I should be able to go the whole year and maybe lose only twice! (if that)

Here is another playable roulette betting scheme of mine...
You walk up to your favorite table and bet the last color that came up.
You either win or lose that bet.
Then you wait for the next spin result without betting, whatever color that was, then you bet it on the next spin.
You alternate follow the color. I like to Marty it of course.
Try this sometime!
MM
MM,
but how well would that work with 'brbrbrbr' or 'brrbbrrb' which happens all the time :'(
and with marty it would be bankrupt ! :o
