I'm trying to marry the two systems.

Begin the GUT, While Collecting High/Medium/Low from 4 selecta,
When the lines cross, play dominant sector for 4 selecta, for x spins (as required by GUT).

I'll be back with tests..

It's a matter of simplifying it
(So it will something you can use w/o pen and paper, if possible.)
