Here is a short and exciting play my old professor and me have been discussing for a while now.
I am trying to make it tank, but cant lol.
The basic strategy is to play the winning dozen, and keep adding a unit to the next winning dozen, When all dozen are covered,
you must then make sure zero is covered with min. wager possible.
Only the winning dozen gets +1 unit each time, the othes stay as last betted.
R1 ( free spin ), D1 won
R2 bet 1 unit on D1 - D2 wins
R3 bet D1 same amount and D2 1 unit - D2 wins ( we have just broke even )
R4 bet D1 same amount and D2 1 unit + 1 unit for winning - D3 wins
R5 bet D1 same amount and D2 same amount ( repeat bet so you have 2 units on it ), bet D3 1 unit - D2 wins
R6 bet D1 same amount and D2 same amount + 1 unit for winning and D3 same amount
You bets will look like this Rx = round # / Dx = Dozen # / Bx = amount of units bet
R1 : D1 - B0
R2 : D1 - B1
R3 : D1 - B1 / D2 - B1
R4 : D1 - B1 / D2 - B2
R5 : D1 - B1 / D2 - B2 / D3 - B1
R6 : D1 - B1 / D2 - B3 & D3 - B1 / zero - B
Enjoy this annoying system and remember. On break even, you restart the game ( I log out and in ), on profit you restart the game.
So far 5000 spins ( yes I know its a bit inconclusive ), shows a max down of 12 and a max profit of 93, however its a safe and easy strategy, to master and very secure.

System keeps tanking on me - did code in rx but always fails within very short number of spins.

.................................Wait................professors play roulette? no way...........................really? o well,, proffessors.....said so.........then itr must work
:) Just because you build it, doesnt mean they will come. I am reluctant to believe that you would jump out of a window if told so by another human being, thus i expect you to feel compelled to explore whatever posts I may have in here on your own.
There is an old saying in Japan. The umbrella wont expand if you shove it up your behind. So to state and stress the obvious, as per Jerek, try it out and make up your own mind. The professor and I merely took a theoretical approach to the subject, testing it furthermore. At no time did he or I claim absurd winnings or this to be the "holy grail".
P.S.
No one is born a professor, I am sure they are born as a child, and no one is their title. At the end of the day, we all take off our pants when we get home, regardless of our profession, so yes even the professor plays roulette.

Did you include the breakeven aspects and restartpoints? I am deliberately stressing that within the first few spins you obtain either profit or breakeven, and by such, you are required to terminate the entire session, closing the window and restarting the game.

codegenic, professor told you to close the window and restart the computer after win or get even? I think he told you to reset to 0 and start chasing the dozens again. Interesting approach, it can work. How much would you win on the 5000 spins?
Cheers Hermes
i was just thinking and instead of logging out then back in, if you miss 1 spin then i would say effectively you have started a new session, might just be less hassle doing it that way

I will consider this and Hermes comment aswell. I am pleased with the feedback.
In regards of Simons dozens, I do wish to state that the idea in contrast to his, is based on hitting the streaks. Yhus we bet the winning dozen and add the +1 unit. Its not very uncommo that a dozen repeats for 2-4 times in a row, hence it gives us quite a profit.
Hermes> Being that you bet on the winning dozens, you often experience a winning of 3-9+ units, but I cant tell you how much that would amount to in one session, since I restart after breakeven or when making a proft. I can however say that the basic profit is 1-2 units and 36 units minus the bets on the table, when it hits zero.

I am sorry,but i dont get it .
In your example you break even in spin nr 2 ,so why not start a new session?
Does one need to keep playing till all dozens are covered....?
What didi i miss,
thx in advance for feedback,

This is a winner.
I will use this for the basis of a test. I am using some modifications of this and will prove it is a winner.
I never cover the zero. I also will never bet on all 3 12's. I also play columns and dozens at same time. Think about why and it will stop you from doing the same.
But basically this is a winner. Bit of sensible money management and this is a low risk easy starter.
50u bank should be plenty.

Hi Tuckster,
Can you give a demonstration of how you are playing?
see-jerek is right, it is no-brainer. If the dozen you bet most suddenly goes to sleep your bankroll is going to cleaners. Why not increase an unit on winning dozen and reset to 1 on both other losing dozens? It even save you a fortune if zero comes.

Excellent idea. Its great everyone can have their own take on this to suit their playing style.
I will get back to you next week with the finalized progression for this, or money management rather.
The concept of betting according to bets bettet, will take you with storm.
Cheers

my only advice - look for a way of money managemnet that has no bets on 0 and does not cover all 12's.
