I was playing for real money in an RNG casino.
I was testing a couple of strategies that didn't pan out as I'd hoped and in the process was keeping a record of which numbers had hit and how many times.
As my session was coming to an end I noticed that the following numbers hadn't come up at all:
3, 15, 34
And that these numbers had come up a lot:
5, 17, 29, 31, 33
I thought to myself ' Perhaps I should try placing 1 unit on each of these numbers for the next few spins and see what happens?' but then the little voice in my head appeared and said 'No, No! It's RNG! Random! These numbers don't have to turn up now!' So I listened to the little voice, didn't bet on those numbers, and continued testing my (failing) strategies.
What were the next 6 numbers?
15, 34, 29, 17, 3, 3 :'(
Is betting on unhit numbers a good strategy?
Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place! I was unsure...
its the point of entry. that matters. we know these numbers will play if you get a feeling they are about to play. well go for it.
I would go with the repeaters all the way. Just because a number is due doesn't mean it will come.
Unfortunately, if you test this idea over large samples, whether it be sleepers or hot numbers, the result is always the same: [smiley=thumbdown.gif].
Damn, I'm starting to sound like Herb...Have I stepped over to the darkside...!?! Where's Obi 1 when you need him. :)
Cheers,
CD
"if you test this idea over large samples" -- Thats true but will you or myself be at the casino betting during those "LARGE SAMPLES"? Who cares what the stats are over 400,000 spins. Ken

InfinitySquared,
Betting on unhit numbers should be avoided. If any, bet on them AFTER they hit (waker methodology).
Remember the largest postive tram starts with 2 hits and the largest, record-breaking negative tram, starts with a missed cycle (I.e. unhit number for 37+ spins).
Regards.
Victor

As I marked down which numbers had hit and how often I had a few that hit a lot, a few that didn't hit at all and a number which had only appeared once or twice.
Would the latter numbers be the ones you would bet on? :)
"If any, bet on them AFTER they hit (waker methodology)." --- Hey Victor. This is still the BEST method out there (my opinion) but the patience level and high BR is not for everyone. Track all numbers until only one left unhit. WAIT until that number hits but continue tracking every spin for future use. After the number hits (it might be one spin later or another three hours) then start 85 step progression. Get a win and start over. Works well, I have played it five times but 10 hours total each visit. Ken
