I saw a topic on here a few days ago with a system that supposidly was the safest system to use. It looked pretty good so I decided to give it a try. It wasnt specific about some things so i had to add my own stuff in there. Heres the system-
Bet 3 units on 1-18
Bet 2 units on 3rd 12
if you lose...
9 on 1-18
6 on 3rd 12.......if you win your second bet( or the bet you just got to on your progression) you bet the same bet again and youll receive a 1 dollar profit
if you lose...
33 on 1-18
22 on 3rd 12
if you lose...
74 on 1-18
36 on 3rd 12
I wanted to test this system and there were a few things i was concerned about, what if you lose a bet, win the 2nd bet(1st step in the progression) and then you lose again in your attempt to make the one dollar profit? i decided to just proceed in the progression after that.(ex. 3/2 loss, 9/6 win...so your 2 down , 9/6 lose....down 17, 33/22 win...down 6, 33/22 win....5 dollar profit. instead of using the last 33/22 you can use 27/18 to come up 1 dollar ahead, but using 33/22 is easier to remember.
I hand tested this with 200 spins with a 300$ bankroll and ended up with 422$ (122$ profit ;))
I also used this on a 1$ table to my unit values were only 1 dollar.
I assume ill hit a bad run with a lot of loss win loss wins, since you need 2 wins in a row to make the profit if u have 1 loss. So i suggest making about 20-50 bucks then take a break from the table. I plan to use this in AC, i dont play online. Any suggestions would be greatly appretiated. ;D
you would be better off coming up with a way to flatbet, progression just gives the illusion you are winning and therefore when you do lose you lose bigger
yeah im still working on some stuff with this system. cant seem to figure anything out flat betting wise with this. possibly only pregessing once in a while when u win, in order to still be up when u eventually lose. The progression isnt too bad right now, i think chances are you can make 50 bucks easy then run and come back later. If you do lose its only like 185.( im betting dollars )
I once had a similar idea where I used to do the following:
Aiming for 6 units per session:
Put 2 units on Low and 1 unit on the 3rd dozen, and spin 3 times to get +3. Then wait for a few spins and repeat the same, to get another +3, which ends the session.
Whenever you loose, wait for 10 spins or so, or switch to another table, and repeat the same:
3 spins to recover your loss,
3 spins to go up 3 units,
then wait for 10 free spins (or switch tables) and play 3 spins to complete your +6 and quit.
I haven't played this much back then, but among the bad sessions/series I've seen, I have never gotten more than a -12 drawdown (that is 4 lost bets without any wins to cancel them) right before recovering.
Avoid playing this on a table where the 4th line (double-street) is hot.
All flat betting, no progressions used.
I wouldn't recommend any progressions when covering more than 24 numbers.
A quick hand-testing using some Spielbank actuals shows 10 won sessions (that's 60 units profit) with a maximum drawdown of -9 u.
A relatively safe system, it is.
A consistent winning bet, it is not.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck mate,

what Marven said.. :D
We should use conservative progression:
low:3-6-9
3rd doz:2-4-6
1st step lose: go to 2nd step and we need at least 2 consecutive wins
the same if we go to 3rd step
If we have 1 lose in 2nd or 3rd step, we need 5 wins in that step to recover.
Always watch our bankroll, to start over although we have some loss

You're in blue:
A relatively safe system, it is.
A consistent winning bet, it is not.
How can it be safe and not a consistent winning bet? Does it consistently break even? That's the only way it could be "safe" and yet not a consistent winner.
A consistent "break-even-er"? (My word; patent pending!!)

ive tested and it doesnt work as well as the steeper progression. If you lose u need to win 3 in a row and if u lose during those 3 wins ur in even more trouble

Ah sorry Sam, I didn't want it to give that impression.[smiley=vrolijk_1.gif]
By "relatively safe" I meant it's rather stable in terms of wins and losses: Without huge drawdowns / No aggressive progressions used. Hence the word 'safe'.
It's no killer, nor a consistent winner.
There ya go! I'm writing a song about this. [smiley=afro.gif]
Cheers mate,
