Title: One for math people
Post by: djroulette on December 29, 2008, 04:09:25 PM
Hi guys

i have been over at roulette forum and someone over there posed a good thought. as roulette is supposedly a game of random can we beat it using random?? He then goes on to say if we record the last 10 appearances wether it be r/b or even/odd.

so just wondered what are the odds of a pattern of 10 repeating itself in the next 10??

cheers

The pattern that just hit is as likely as any other pattern to occur.

Best of luck :)

You may have a look at "Roulette Probability Made Easier" (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/reference-area/roulette-probability-made-easier-t2193/) by Kon-Fu-Sed where this
kind of calculations are well explained. I think it's all in sections 2-4...
