So how much is the total billing each month?

It all depends on how much people gets to sponsor, if we can rise $159/mo, we move to a dedicated plan. Less, we move accordingly.

It seems due to previous failure host replaced my modified forum source-pages by previous versions.

This is why the sponsors banner just dissapeared for members to see for previous days :o and some functionality too :-\

Sponsor links have been placed at the bottom now till server upgrade next month where database is moved and the board gets reinstalled to build upon (of course, with all of you guys' support, which I don't have a doubt we will have ).

I don't want to mess with the sources anymore till then when we get a fresh install to restore everything back.

Victor,

If I were you Victor I would take a more proactive approach.

nolinks://nolinks.sponsorship.com/ (nolinks://nolinks.sponsorship.com/)

I have never seen donation-ware pay off. The people that have posted actively here for the past year have done so because it was free to do that. If you can't find an outside sponsorship than this month's work to get enough sponsorship from those that have been active will rapidly become a futile activity for you. I'll miss the celebration of every idea, and the demand for civil discourse while doing it. On the other hand, perhaps some real shoe leather, pounding of the cyber-pavement might get you what you need to keep this going. Perhaps others can network for you to find an outside sponsorship?

I want you to not take it personally if there isn't enough from within this community to keep it going. It's the nature of the internet. If it's on your computer and from the net then most people want it all for free. You won't make it survive for more than three months from internal donations.

I'm not a party pooper on this. I just know the internet. Trust me, there are tons of sponsorships out there if you can produce traffic numbers for guest viewership. Make your efforts for sponsorship count. Look outside the group in order to survive.

Good luck,

Mark

Thanks for your ideas Mark.

Be certain sponsorships are 100% opt-in and everyone remains to have the ability to post and read freely. It is the supportive side what we are talking about here.

I have had many people providing ideas, from telling us to go to the straigth-up casino partnerships path, to other valuable ones, yet I want to give room to the direct approach first. Like I said at the sponsor message, I think this community is built on sharing, caring people.

I truly want us to have the "roulette community server", far from any online casino partnership and 100% advertisements-free.

To lift it from a simple forum to to a well-oiled community where we all can hang out and share enjoying functionalities sponsored by ourselves; with enough resources to support our own realtime gaming service, realtime challenges and many other community-oriented features we still lack.

Of course, there is always the option for the traditional text in/text out forum with only text-formatting features to go; but I really would like to have enough support to build our place up to the next level! More resources, more room for features to exist smoothly, that is a simple equation. If we can endogenously sponsor our own server, then we get the "room" and I for sure can devote the time to build. I want to have our own testing bot, open for script submissions, generating an online results database resulting from such daily automated system testing -to get charts and serve as reference-, to start rolling an actuals-fetcher bot for an actuals library which grows by the day with actuals from all tables of Wiesbaden, Hohensyburg, Duisburg, Bremen, casino Berlin and open to any other source reachable online, ready for automated and human testers to work with, and many more features.

I don't think our forum fellows are cheaps Mark! I too know about the usual way the internet goes, but I vouch for us not being "the usual", but rather the sharing, supportive community :)

I do have trust in our people's heart and willingness. It is for our own benefit here.
