Title: VICTORY IN DETROIT!
Post by: Coxx16 on January 30, 2009, 04:35:02 PM
LOL, Sorry about yelling guys. I just read something that makes me extremely happy.  It looks like the crap hole casinos in Detroit (where I live) have decided to kick it up a notch. They have added....drum roll......Rapid Roulette!!! Why is this such a big deal to me? First of all, Detroit's table games are complete shit. (ex. extremely slow, not enough tables, high minimums; usually around 15-25 dollars) The closest rapid roulette game to me was at Caesar's Windsor. Because of the boarder toll, gas and the exchange rate I was usually down almost $20 dollars before I even got to the casino!  Now, thanks to the new addition of rapid roulette, (and thanks be to the knowledge provided by victor, Lanky and TwoCatSam of course) roulette might just be profitable...well more profitable anyway :)

Thanks for reading my random victory rant! lol

It looks like the crap hole casinos in Detroit>>>

I was at the new MGM in Dec, how do you figure its a crap hole?

I was at the other one, the one by the ballpark downtown, and at 6pm they raised the min on roulette from 10 to 25 and everybody disappeared. I thought that was a little stupid.

Across the pond here (Milwaukee), I have been hoping for years to get RR but so far.......nothing. Bastards! Ken

They had RR in the casino I go to for a year and got rid of it because nobody played it. They all preferred the virtual roulette where the min is a dollar.

Detroit spent MILLIONS on this rapid roulette setup (or so says the news), so I don't think that it will go away anytime soon.

Millions? You must be kidding around. Casinos rent the equipment, there's almost no investment at all. Very funny..

I play bac. But I didn't like either roulette set up. I don't like RNG's and the RR kept changing dealers every 5 spins, I hate that.
