Title: Relaxed Roulette
Post by: poundmaker on February 15, 2009, 10:10:22 AM
Has anyone heard of this one ?  relaxedroulette(.com)

I like the look of it as its English (which I am) and is very well presented.

But the scam bells ring because there is no contact address, and for a change they DO NOT offer  refunds, and the only way to contact them is through an online form.

The concept sounds like what we are all looking for.

Heres hoping ...............

Er...sorry to be a wet blanket but I wonder if 302's Relaxed Roulette really is exactly the one being sold by the English couple.

There are (at this moment) 1450 google hits for "relaxed roulette"  (put it in inverted commas to hit the exact phrase) and there are several different systems using the same name!!!  :>(

@Poundmaker:
I'm not the slightest interested in buying their stuff -- I try to dissuade others from buying systems -- but I am interested in unmasking scammers.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS. I've already emailed this 'English couple' with a raft of probing questions. A week later they still remain unanswered...  (I've also emailed them direct as well as via the contact form.)

My guess is, they'll stay unanswered. Scammers generally find it a good ploy to ignore inconvenient questions that can potentially expose their activities.

You see, I too have my suspicions about them for the same reasons as you.  Also, he claims to be an engineer; she a solicitor. But nowhere on the site do they substantiate those claims.

No. Simply warm motherhood statements, methinks, to lull punters into a false sense of security. "Oh, a professional couple...must be alright, then."   Ha.

Consider this: with their combined, large, professional incomes why on earth would they be bothered trying to flog a roulette system? Not as if they need the money, surely! (Or are they just plain greedy?)

I suspect 'they' are simply just one person, using a tricky approach to flog a dud. As you noted, there's no refund offered if not satisfied. Strange behaviour from a so-called solicitor to ignore basic consumer rights. Just doesn't stack up.

And not to provide a street address, email address and phone is a dead giveaway.

I rest my case.

Coming up to a fortnight, now, and the 'relaxed' copuple are so relaxed they've not bothered to reply let alone answer my questions.

Predictable behaviour if nothing else   :(

Scam. Stay away!!
