This has probably been discussed before, but I wasn't around then, so...
If you believe you have a "grail" then what should you do with it?
Should you keep it absolute secret, and try to remain as invisible as possible?
Should you give or sell it to a select few... under what conditions, and how would you choose and police that few?
Or should you give it away freely to anyone that's interested?
I think giving it away freely might be a bit irresponsible; maybe not everyone is ready to handle lots of cash. You don't know what people are going to do with all the loads of money they make... buy lots of drugs and firearms? Lead a nefarious life of decadence and debauchery?
What would be the impact on our workforce? Thousands of people would quit their jobs and hang out at the casino all day and night.
Personally I don't think a single one of us should just give it away freely. I think you should protect your investment. Perhaps we should help others find their way, but not show them your way. I'd rather let them all keep depositing money for you to skim off the top.
Maybe a select few could be found, but that feels like trouble down the track. One leak, and it's sunk... back to a free give away.
Lots of people on this and other forums keep saying it's us against the casinos, But it's not really. Before getting involved in roulette, I was heavily into horse racing. When you walk on the track, or into a TAB (betting shop), all the punters you see are your opponents, every last one of them. They are the ones that create the market for you to manipulate. The TAB and bookies just offer the venue and take a cut. Even though roulette is a fixed market, I consider it the same as horse racing. All the gamblers are there to inject funds into your account. Now if they were all winning, well you'd better get in quick is all I can say.
Anyway, I'd be interested to here other opinions about what to do with a "grail".
Just few days ago mate... :D
(and few topics below this one)

I don't really care about the number of the topics but you can find my view on this there. ;)

Hi, Lupo.
I just read that topic, and yes it is very similar.
I guess I'm really asking should we share it freely or not.
Cheers mate.[smiley=beer.gif]
Hi Bombus,
First of all, assuming such a thing exists, I still believe it wouldn't be easy to implement and make the most out of it by the average person/gambler.
Your points are quite valid though. I personally wouldn't share such a thing with the public (especially in the internet) anyway.
To be honest, I wouldn't even share it with a family member for those reasons you mentioned. I WOULD however share it with a few select friends whom I know are responsible persons with good motives, who have had a fairly long involvement with the game, and are capable of carrying such knowledge.
Mind you, all of them are people I met at this forum.
Lanky, Victor, BerlinerBruce, LuckyStrike, Pighead, Moccoman, Davey-Jones, See_Jerek... are some of them.
That's the cool thing about such forum. It's not the threads and posts that really matter, but the good lasting relationships with fellow rouletters.
Cheers,
Marven

Wise words Marven, wise words.....
Hi Marven,
Spot on reply mate. I guess I'll have to find me a responsible, roulette playing friend then; one that can code too.
Cheers,

The Grail lies more in you, the player, than it does in an unbeatable system. A good player can make a Grail out of good system. A mediocre player can't.

I agree 100% with You Spike.
With one proviso that a mediocre player can in time learn to be a Good Player.
Well I hope I am right anyway because I am certainly trying to be one.
Gees Victor.....Me agreeing with Spike.....You should mark this Auspicious Occasion Victor.Lanky.
