Hey Everyone!
My latest excursion to a brick & mortar casino (Golden Moon/Silver Star. Philadelphia, Ms.) I thought was going to be my worst nightmare. My wife hit the one arm bandits while I went to a table where the dealer was real nice but no numbers on the board. I couldn't see what the last few spins were. It was kind of crowded so I got $50 bucks and sat at the end of the table where the columns were. I decided to play the columns like many of us have been studying. I waited for a couple of spins and committed the numbers to memory. Then I made my move. I put $5 on columns 1 & 2. The number hit 3. (#@~!% it!) I upped my bet to $7 dollars on columns 2 & 3. The number hit 17. (now we're talking) I put $6 dollars on columns 1 & 2 again. It hit 27. ( I thought this is going to be a long night.) I put $8 dollars on columns 2 & 3 again. It hit 13. (lost again). I was only left with $19 dollars and I put $9 on columns 1 & 2 again hoping for the best. Our worst nightmare came to fruitition with the shifting columns and dozens back and forth. The number hit on 15. As much as I didn't want to, I gave the dealer my last chip and walked away from the table. (It wasn't a long night after all.) That was at the Silver Star.
The next day I went to a table at the Golden Moon where the dealer had a personality like a sack of potatoes. It wasn't crowded so I decided to play another $50 bucks one more time. I played the 2 & 3 dozens straight. (after the night before, I thought, 'What the heck') I decided when I get 3 losses in a row I would walk away and quit. This time I decided to bet differently as well.) I put $5 dollars on the 2 & 3 dozens for 4 straight wins. Then I upped my bet to $6 for 3 spins, then $7 for 2 spins and $8 for 1 spin then I started back over at $5 again. When I decided to walk away I tipped the dealer $40 bucks and walked away with $197 in my pocket. The wheel hit 12 times straight on the 2 & 3 dozens. Then for 9 straight later. Double zero hit once and Single zero hit twice the whole time. I couldn't believe how my luck changed from one night to the next day, but if I had lost that time I would have told my wife to lets go home.
Even though I was a personal winner this one time. Between my wife and I playing other games though the casino was still the big winner for the weekend. (as usual). But it was fun.
Reb, it is always a good day when you win. I'm happy to know a fellow player is getting and -yes- getting something at the cashier.
Regards and may the good streak continue.
