Title: Challenge - how would you play this scenario?
Post by: kav on March 27, 2009, 01:36:24 PM
Hello guys,
I have a challenge for you. How would you play the following scenario?

In the next 60 spins, you know that the 3rd dozen will come more than 20 times. (but you don't know exactly how many times)

You have a bankroll of 60 units.

How would you bet in order to maximize your profits?

If you flat bet every spin for 70 spins, you will end with a profit that is 4 X ((appearences of 3rd dozen numbers) - 20)). That means if 3rd dozen comes 22 times. Your profit will be
4 x (22-20) = 4 x 2 = 8 units
If 3rd dozen comes 24 times, then your profit will be
4 x (24-20) = 4 x 4 = 16 units
etc.

Is there a better system than flat bet to exploit the fact that the 3rd dozen will appear more than 20 times in 60 spins?

I am not sure there is a better way to bet it. But if it had only hit 19 times with one spin to go...............load up!! ;D ;D ;D

if i knew the 3rd dozen would appear more than 20 times i would gather all my money, take out a loan, divi it up into 60 equal bets then play thus maximizing the profit. as for using a system.... a guess is just as good, after all a system is just guessing anyway except you worked out where you wana guess before hand.
