To paraphrase the above observation:  I've heard of a bumblebee, don't know how it works but I know enough to say it probably won't work.

Don't tell the bee that, aerodynamically speaking, it shouldn't fly.

But it does...despite the opinions of others!!

Does Reverse Roulette 'work'? Yes, of course it does. All systems 'work' to some extent.

It's just that it might not work in the way you either expect...or want... or need...it to!

The initial question could be reworded, perhaps, then we can give some helpful answers.

As far as i'm aware it involves picking a number that hasn't come up in a while and then focusing in on it with a sort of betting parachute.   Bet on whether the number you've picked is in high/low once.   Then bet on the dozen it appears in.   Next three bets bet on the line, next three on the corner and next three on the street.   Next 6 on the split and next 18 on the single number, and if it doesn't appear in that time you're 36 units down.   If it appears anywhere in the betting progression you win between 1 and 18 units.

I'm pretty sure this is it or I may be confusing it with something else.
