Can you post links properly?
Can someone with less than 10 posts please post a link? (Should appear non-clickable).
Can someone with more than 10 post please a link too? (Should be a live link).
This information is vital for our anti-spam measures.
[smiley=dankk2.gif] to those who take the time to test.

Worked!
Thanks Lonhro, taking away the ability to post links just because of some spammers wasn't fair to the community, specially where there are better technological workarounds to this.
We had to take this into consideration:
Fact: Spammers do not like to interact, they just want to swipe their clickable links for people and search engines to follow them.
Fact: 99.999% spammers show their spamvertized topic before their 10th post.
Fact: Not every member with less than 10 posts intends to spam the board (gladly).
SOLUTION: Allow members with less than 10 post to post links and make them automatically unclickable. Once they interact with the community these links will be automatically re-parsed to clickable :)
Now we need someone with less than 10 posts to please post a link for testing the selective non-clickable functionality! Anyone?
Thanks & Regards.

On the contrary my friend, that is a beautiful non-clickable url worthless for spammers hunting for live links to their sites for visitors and search engines to follow

Thanks for your test and yes,
once your post count rises to 10+ it will auto-parse correctly to a live link automagically.
It is a fact most spammers aren't even considering making ten posts in order to have their links properly spammed [smiley=laugh.gif] So this is a true improvement.

This is a fantastic idea Victor. Many forums are ruined by Spammers and Scammers (S&S), an excellent way to combat them. I like most people am just here to learn, I haven't posted much but this is just another of many innovative ideas that I have seen implemented that makes this forum so much better than many others. Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put in to this site.
Hehe, nice upgrade
Victor started a war against spammers :D
We aren't very attractive to spammers now.
They can't neither post their spam links at their first posts, nor can they workaround it by making fake clean posts for exposing links at signatures (as adding links to signatures isn't even possible now).
Spammers aren't happy with us, that's for sure.
What a great idea Victor.Kudos to you

Okay, right at the 10th post barrier and still non-clickable (expected):

Just 1 more post and let's see if it parses to a live link past the 10th post barrier so we know the feature works as intended :)
So 1 more post Super-roulette!!!

Thanks bro, as long as they (spammers) have a hard time, it is a win for all of us at this community.
