Title: Math Question
Post by: TicTacToe on April 21, 2009, 11:58:03 AM
Anyone good with math ?

Not me, that's for sure.

How do we calculate Win Rate  ... Is it # of losses divided by # of wins. ( Not sure )

Ok here are the numbers .... 43 spins played .... 10 lost .... 33 won .... Playing 20 inside numbers ( 2 of which are 0.00 )

Can someone tell me what my Win Rate is ?

Thanks in advance

well, if I'm right....

you've played 43 times, and won 33...

so 33/43 = 77% win rate.

But as a BR-result it is

43*20=860 units bet
33*36=1188 unit win
net= 328 units
328/860*100=38,13% win-rate

Matty is correct, 77% win rate where it should have been 54%. I'd say you had a pretty good session.

Matt thats what I came up with also. Thanks

Winkel, I love your detailed answer. Thanks a bunch

Just noticed that 33*36 not = 1980 .... = 1188

Shorty, where did you come up with 54 % ?

@TTT

I think you played American Roulette with Double Zero?!

The Hitrate should be 43*20/38 = 22,63
That the Winrate should be 22,63*100/43 = 52,62

You had 33/43 =  76,74

pretty good
overcame the +3rd Standarddeviation(variance)

(43*20/38*18/38)^0,5 = 3,27

3,27*3 = 9,81

22,63+9,81 = 32,44

RCEC

I understand everything up to
QuoteThe Hitrate should be 43*20/38 = 22,63
That the Winrate should be 22,63*100/43 = 52,62

You had 33/43 =  76,74

pretty good
overcame the +3rd Standarddeviation(variance)

(43*20/38*18/38)^0,5 = 3,27

You lost me here

Quote3,27*3 = 9,81

22,63+9,81 = 32,44

Can you explain please .... Thanks

I know this isn't a math course, but it would be appreciated

Your sample is too small to be considered relevant.

Herb

I'm not asking about the relevance of my method, but just the math so I can figure it out for myself later once my method has relevance.

My method of play has lots of tweaking still to be applied.

RCEC if you can answer me what these numbers mean I would appreciate.

Quote3,27*3 = 9,81

22,63+9,81 = 32,44

Thanks
