Title: A week in the life of a semi-professional roulette player.
Post by: johhnyg on May 08, 2009, 07:21:04 AM
There has been a lot of people come and go on here promising this and that and not really delivered shall we say.
In my opinion a lot of people are left clutching at straws asking can the game of roulette really be beat using a solid bet. The answer is 100% yes it can. What is needed is discipline and time to wait for the right moments.
I am going to deposit some money into Joyland Casino tonight and play on the live roulette wheel for a week.
I will expose my bet (flat betting with the occasional positive progression) and go through it spin by spin in groups of 50-100 and explain why I bet and also more importantly why I did not. I would also like to share some stories that have got me where I am today. It may make some of you think twice that think gambling is romantic and carefree. My bet cost me a heavy price.  More to come.....

Hello johhnyg,

I fully agree with you that gambling profession is never romantic and carefree. I experienced this life style during my years playing blackjack. Anyway wish you the very best in your one week roulette challenge and I strongly believe you will WIN. I have high regards for you.

It will be an experience for me as much for everyone else I hope.
Some of you will end up hating me and then hopefully understanding me.
I feel I need to do this and the gift I am imparting is not so much the bet as the time you people deserve not to have taken away by people who do not have your best interests at heart.
By the way this could get controversial LOL.

Hello,

Johnnyg...

I wish you all the best in what you are about to do!
I certainly like that you say "flat betting with the occasional positive progression".
Have a great week.

I was going to play at Joyland Casino however after reading some reviews they are considered a rogue casino by some of the internet watchdogs. Therefore I will play at the live BET365 casino instead. From what I have read they seem fine.
Thank you for all the encouragement. I will play at least one session a day over the course of the next seven days.

This is truly excellent and surely a motivator for the guys!  :good:

BTW, TwoCatSam has screen video capture software with audio. Perhaps you may want to record your sessions and post them to a video website like Google Video (say Bet365 makes you a "poo poo", then you'll have it on tape).

Managed to open up the account at 365. you need to be careful because they assume you want the bonus without asking. I had to contact customer services and ask them to take it off again. So I am ready for action now. I will have a session this evening and get back later with a detailed report. [attachimg=#]

Just back from a session at 365 guys and it started a bit rough losing 10% of my bankroll. It levelled out and I ended the session gaining 25% + on my investment.
Of the 34 bets covered I won 22 of them. Some of the bets were just playing three streets. I will have a quick bite to eat and come back and explain a few things.

Hello Johnny
Its a good start,I wish you all the best.I agree with you that gambling as a professional doesn't sound and look as good as it seems but its definitely possible.
If it ain't possible then why is herb and company flying all over the world just to play roulette?

With regards to Joyland, what is the issue? It seems ok to me and many members are also playing there I believe

Title: Re: A week in the life of a semi-professional roulette player.

Hello See_Jerek. I have read some articles on Joyland that disturbed me enough to not want to risk playing there. I will say though that the problems seem to have happened a few years ago when they were a relatively new outfit and they may have ironed out some of the difficulties in the meantime. I am personally happy to play at 365.

The bet I am going to share is a twist on my dozens and colums system that is in the full systems section of this board. For anybody not familiar with it, I would suggest having a scan over it to get a good understanding and then you can hit the ground running with the add-ons that I am going to tell you about. I will explain all variations and components.
Title: Re: A week in the life of a semi-professional roulette player.
Post by: johhnyg on May 08, 2009, 06:43:40 PM
Let me show you the session I was playing earlier on tonight and then I can explain the components that you will need to understand to play the bet. You will think it is all gobbly-gook now but all will become clear.

7 1A
-----
4 1A. SAME
35 3B. DIFFERENCE (4)
------------------
30 3C. SAME
1 1A. DIFFERENCE (4)
------------------
3 1C. SAME
5 1B. SAME (3)
------------------
21 2C. DIFFERENCE
12 1C. SAME (2) (THE 1 IS MISSING)
------------------------
10 1A. SAME
35 3B. DIFFERENCE (4)
--------------------
13 2A. DIFFERENCE
10 1A. SAME (2)
----------------------
15 2C. DIFFERENCE
24 2C. SAME (2)
-------------------------
33 3C. SAME
29 3B. SAME (3)
-------------------------

I think after reading the dozens and colums system most of you will understand where the number and letter come from after the number that was just spun. Taking the last number out (29) it is 3B because 29 is in the 3RD dozen and it belongs to colum B.
As for the SAME and DIFFERENCE. If either the DOZEN or COLUM is the same as the last number it is represented as SAME. If both the DOZEN and COLUM are different from the last number it is represented as DIFFERENCE.

So before I go on are we all clear on this so far?

Well that is my 50 spins for the day. (that is 50 spins that I bet on, I probably recorded about 100) I am hitting at about 65% of my bets which is good.
Made 40% on my investment today. More than what most pro, semi-pro's  would aim for but I have a very solid bet which maybe even CEH would be proud off LOL.

The funny thing is reading all the comments from the players in the inbox commentary. They all swear it's fixed. Any live reputable online casino is not fixed. Just the players mind is fixed to lose. So in a way it is fixed if you see what I mean.

Just about to go and have a session. I was in London today watching my football team play in the promotion play-offs.
We lost the first leg 1-0 but hopefully at home in the second leg we can do the business. Thanks for the replies.
I would just like to say that I am not promoting any online casino here after a reference was made about it somewhere else.

That was a session and a half. PHEW!!!!!!
About 4 hours. I went down 15% of the balance over a period and managed to claw that back and get in profit for the session. Nothing special but I can take a lot from that tonight. It shows me where I am at and that the casino can not really hurt me no matter how much good luck it enjoys against me. I just wait my turn and recoup.
It is 3 in the morning here now and I am going to get some sleep. I am home all day tomorrow and will play a bit and spend most of the time telling you a lot more about how I play and importantly when.

Just had another really tough session. Sometimes you have to sit tight and admire the randomness in the game.
That was another 3 hour session. Was only ever down 5% on my previous posted balance and managed to gain another 15% on my investment. Just flat betting using 25p units and since I started I have added 75% to the £100 starting balance.
