Title: questions about G.U.T. and Perfect Balance
Post by: simon on May 16, 2009, 10:02:48 AM
I have just started reviewing G.U.T. and there are over 1000 posts to this thread and  it gives me a headache to try and follow it and understand the system.  I was wondering if any newbies want to study it with me and compare notes (Celiza?) or if any oldies can help me understand it.  But ofcourse the main question is does it work?  And can it work with a double zero wheel?  (if not there are single zero roulette machines at the b&m casino I go to, but I'm not sure if I trust a machine... could be programmed to beat you?)  I am most interested in this system because it employs flat bets only (I think), and any system that can beat the wheel with flat bets is a wonderful miracle (Winkel you must be a genius, and deserving of the Nobel Prize in Mathematics if you have shown how to beat roulette with flat bets-- and I am not being sarcastic--  I am being totally serious and respectful.)  If someone could tell me what the bottom line is on this system that would be great (I know it was voted best in '08, so it must be pretty good.)

My other question about Perfect Balance is Robert said "it only loses on average about every 3 or 4 thousand spins" but I know it tanked on RPro after he played it not too many times so this is a little confusing.  Was a progression not played out enough (might help, but might lead to disaster too), or what?

Thanks in advance to any answers to these questions.
