Title: study group?
Post by: simon on May 19, 2009, 12:09:00 PM
I was wondering why there doesn't seem to be a study group (perhaps there is) that focuses specifically on the betting layout and strategies to take advantge of it (if possible).  There is much to look at there-- how there are more B/E and R/O numbers than B/O and R/E numbers, how all but a few of the B/E and R/O numbers can be found in the first dozen and 19/22 and 25/28 lines, how there are 8 blacks in one column and 8 reds in another, etc.  Surely there are systems to test that try and exploit these anomalies, and systems that could be developed.  Is this not worthy of a study group all it's own, or is there one?

This is a good point Simon.  I remember reading somewhere (can't remember where though) that a slow way to possibly make a profit is to place one unit on black and one unit on the third colum (the 3 - 36 column) as there are 8 reds in that column (and there only 18 reds total).  I ran it through RXtreme and after 5k spins sometimes it breaks even, sometimes makes a profit (albeit a small one), and sometimes it is down (but only by 100 units or so).

Looking for a better way to exploit this isn't a bad idea.

Hello dear Simon, we are always open to new focused study groups to enrich the forum.

Just tell me what name would you like for it and if you would like everybody to have posting access or you would prefer to make it a closed-posting group.

Inform me and I'll set it up in a snap.

Your friend,
Victor

Hi Victor,

Thank you!

I would like the group to be called "Systems devised to exploit anomalies in the betting layout" and I would like for everybody to have posting access, after I start the first introductory post.
