Title: What do you think of the Guetting progression ?
Post by: mane on May 22, 2009, 08:45:09 PM
Hi,

I´ve been trying to read everything i can about roulette on the last three months, I´ve been also testing a lot of systems and playing some for real, but the results have been bad. . . loses and more loses.

I just returned from the casino and today i won using the Guetting progression.  I´ve read about it some time ago, and it seemed a good idea, but then i´ve found not much about it in the foruns and i´ve seen it advertised in some online casino "help" pages (which is a sure sign a system is not good).

But yesterday i decided to do some testing on the Guetting progression and today i went and played it and it seems quite a nice way to play.  When things go bad they don´t go so bad. . . you lose a little, but if you get a good string of results you can easily get a good profit, as i was lucky to do today.  A good thing is that the positive string of result doesn´t have to be an extremely good and unprobable one, as is the case on the inversed labouchere where you can hit a jackpot but it can take months of steady loses.  With the Guetting, a string such as LnolinksLwLnolinksLwLnolinksLnolinkswwLwLwLwLwLnolinksLwLwLnolinks, for instance would get you to the maximum of the progression and give you a great profit.

So, my question is what do you think of the Guetting progression, and why isn´t it more used or given more credit ?

  Thanks

  Mane

Hello Mane,

There's been some discussion on a guetting tweak here (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/money-management/the-guetting-progression/):

Guettin requires a lot of discipline

I have tried but made a lot of modifications on the way.

I mean it's better to get the idea and elaborate it.

I have always found stupid to apply a system literally.

  anyway, everyone got his way.
