Title: Newbie
Post by: Portsa on April 17, 2008, 03:28:51 PM
Hi everyone – I'm not sure if there is a special place for new members to introduce themselves & I'm fairly new to the workings of the Internet but I've been a roulette player for many years & this site looks fascinating.
I started playing about 25 years ago, I think the James Bond movie Casino Royal might have ignited my interest, & I got a book from the library called 'How To Win at Blackjack & Roulette' I even took the book to work & photocopied every page.
In those days a trip to the Casino was an all day trip or a weekend away – nowadays there are half a dozen Casino's within an hours drive.
Over the years I've tried various systems & I've won & lost a bundle of money – but no regrets it's been a blast. I bought more than one system from Win-Maxx & I won a packet (up 80000 units) but then I hit a series of multiple losses that cleaned me out. So for the past two years I've played at minimum limits & a small bankroll.
I've been studying the JSW systems & practicing using at home using  excel spreadsheet & I've even tried it out a couple of times at my local casino (won one lost one), I've tried internet casino's a couple of times but I really prefer the atmosphere of a live place.
I have a few questions to ask & once I'm a bit more experienced with the site I'll start posting them.
:)

Portsa, [smiley=welcome/welcome.gif].

Feel free to call this place home and have no inhibitions for asking as we are friendly here -and very willing to help.

You say "newbie", but hey! 25 years is more table experience than what a roulette newbie has under his belt ;)

Hopefully we can be of assistance.

Best regards.
Victor

Thanks for the warm welcome.

TwoCatSam – I'm originally from Newcastle in the UK (I'm still a Magpie supporter). I emigrated to South Africa when I was 21 & then emigrated again to New Zealand 10 years ago. NZ didn't work out & I'm back in Johannesburg.

How do you insert a Pommy flag to the bottom of a message?
