Title: Progressional parlay idea.
Post by: shoust on April 20, 2008, 09:29:14 PM
I have got this idea while reading one of the parlay(double til lose) vs martingale(double til win) pdf's .

What if there was a way to win without necessarily losing waiting for the streaks to happen?

My idea is, bet on either black or red starting with one unit, but when you win, play the same colour twice or three times with the winnings. If a loss, up by one unit(max 10 units, then same 10 units after loss again), until a streak of two or three of the same colour appear. If the streak wins, reset back to one unit.

Considering you have a bankroll of 100 units, there'd be a total of 14 chances(55 when progression ends, then 4x10 units afterwards to max of 95 units), but the last 2 chances wouldn't be likely to venture into a profit though.

What do you think ? :)

Hello shoust, [smiley=welcome/welcome.gif] to our forum.

My opinion is: parlay in such a manner as that when you lose, you still keep some units AND I must ask here if you have read the Guetting progression, as for the even chances it is an OK one.

Also, when talking about betting with previous winnings, I like the reversed fibonacci a lot.

Thanks a bunch for posting. Let's see if the others have ideas/improvements for the parlays

Yeah, thats the ebook I read before I posted, just read about the guetting progression, seems to only be good upon winning streaks. Which probably would work better on a better bet than even chances I'd think, say like 2 dozens bet. Where a slightly less than 65% chance of success.

Whats the difference between the reversed fibonacci vs the normal fibobacci?
