Title: Basic Baccarat question
Post by: Jeromin on March 26, 2010, 06:09:49 AM
I was looknig at a site reviewing live dealer casinos and they say that DB Baccarat is played with 8 decks. Is it the case that 8 deck games  go to about 60 hands per shoe? I've seen games ( I think it was Zumma ) that went to over 70 hands per shoe and assumed those were 8 deck and DB 6 deck. Am I wrong?

It depends how much of the shoe is cut out by the back card. It is usually a good idea to look to stop a shoe if you are playing progression on any win past 50 hands. If the shoe ends during your progression it will cause a big loss.

I'm not playing a progression, but am still interested in knowing the size. Anyway, I'll assume the review site knows what they're talking about and it's 8 decks.
