Title: My test of THE ZONE
Post by: Bayes on April 26, 2010, 02:59:05 PM
I'll be aiming for two wins per day, using the "safe" rules which fender posted (qualify each attack with a virtual loss).

W6 +1
W5 +2

Total 3 units.

There is a bunch of us asking for the rules and none have come forth. I wonder how much they cost..

Rule 1: look for 4 misses... columns dozen or my interpretation a 12 string number set.

that's the trigger to bet

mild progression 1-1-2-3.

The betting process.. look first at a virtual loss before starting the Bet.

Fender suggests for newbies, after win go again in virtual mode for a loss.
Himselves  is more confident and go virtual after  2 wins.

the Zone 4 consecutive losses it means : virtual (-7) -7-7-7 so in reality a loss of -21.

do a big progression to cover that loss .

Spread the time in 2 sessions of six.

be content with a profit of 5 units and leave for the day

Normally result 9 wins 3 losses..

That's it for me.

Quotedo a big progression to cover that loss .

Aye, there's the rub.  :-\

It's been said before many times but it can't be said too often: really and truly, you need to find a way of winning with flat bets, otherwise you'll soon find yourself in brown trouser territory. If you must progress, make it a mild.

Sadly, you only really learn this from experience.

Bayes,

Read Fender carefully...

5 losses is so f**king rare.. I agree with Fender... maybe 4 times a year.

let's do a simulation.

5 dollar bet   .. 6 points ahead per day..    as an average : 1-1-2-3 ... 50 dollars a day. ( euro is ok :))

* 7 * 13 ( a quarter) = roughly 5000 dollars

The big monster is appearing:  5 consq losses.. the horror

   profit               8.75

1   5   1   5   5   15   10
2   5   1   5   10   15   5
3   10   1   10   20   30   10
4   15   1   15   35   45   10

3 *   losses         105

   profit               105

1   60   1   60   60   180   120
2   80   1   80   140   240   100
3   120   1   120   260   360   100
4   180   1   180   440   540   100

shit a loss.. :)
