Title: Randomness is the solution
Post by: Takur on July 08, 2010, 08:57:19 AM
Please bear with me while I try to explain:

I will use the lotto/lottery as an example where you have to pick 6 numbers out of 49 to win.

We all know that the chances of any 6 numbers to come out are the same - but why don't we bet 6 consecutive numbers to come out? e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6 (I am assuming that not many people play 6 consecutive numbers because I have not met any)

Now how do we transfer this approach to Roulette.

I am looking at betting against batches of 10 numbers to repeat (using the martingale from step 5) Now we can select these batches in any unique manner - the more unique the better

Would something like this WIN more than it loses?

It performs well under testing... so far

I think it's psychological why people don't pick consecutive numbers.

Betting against a certain pattern to show has a better chance to win than to be with it.

For example:

RRR
RRB
RBR
BRR
RBB
BRB
BBR
BBB

If you bet againt one of those such as BBB, then you have a 7/8 chance to win.
