Title: Behaviour at roulette table:miscellaneous...
Post by: beretta28 on August 27, 2010, 01:15:38 PM
Expert players  know that to win at roulette, on a yearly basis, means discipline and patience.

Because of that, small wins per session must be sufficient for a player, better than that,I'd say  for
"an investor"!

In addition is fundamental, but not well accepted by most players that stop win an stop loss have to be fixed at same amount.
Ex. :stop, if I win 10 units but stop also if  I lose 10 units. Otherwise you will lose for sure
Difficult to do?
Than stop playing roulette,play chess.

By the way:all progressions that consist in betting more than 2 units are a suicide!!

Here a last story recently occured in an important italian casino:a player offered 20000 € to an another very expert player, that enters the Casino 250 days per year.
Only committments:to give  the borrower 5(five) € per day  for the whole 250 days and of course to give back also 20000€ at the end of the year.
All other gains would have been for the expert player,THAT DIDN'T ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE!!!!
He was right. . . .

All that is my ewperience after 35 years playing roulette.

Only in the last ten years after several bad experiences I manage to win roughly 1000 € per year with a bankroll of 10000 € and 10 or 20 € units at the most per spin. But is boring. . . in the previous years was amazing, but a disaster from an economical point of view

Please reflect on this and sorryy for my poor english

P. S.  I wrote the above message because some posts in this forun are terrific!!!! and dangerous!,even I admit that there are also true experts

Hi medo/iboba.

It's hard-truth time! ;D

- What you're saying is just old roulette clichés and nonsense.

- Discipline and patience and all that cràp is useless when you still don't (or don't want to) grasp basic math.

- 99.9% of posts in this forum are as useless as this one. - The only useful posts are perhaps Kelly's occasional responses in the physics section, the rest is a waste of webspace really.

- There aren't any experts here. Like it or not, the only two people worthy of being called "experts" are Herb and Kelly.

- You still got a long way to go, even after 35 years of "experience".

Question for you Boo Ray >> What I posted was IN REGARDS to *QUOTING* a post or two on this thread. So in retrospect, isn't the person I was *QUOTING*, also off topic? You guys are too damn easy, nothing but practice, sorry.  Ken
