Title: What would the Holy Grail Look Like for Roulette?
Post by: MauiSunset on March 01, 2011, 12:22:05 AM
I found the Holy Grail for stock market trading systems:

Buy the DJIA and hold it until you retire - averages 12% compounded for 120+ years.

Most folks poo-poo that and want something much more - like a hedge fund.

Well over 40 years of investing no hedge fund, no stock market guru, not even Cramer can beat the DJIA 12%; all they do is make themselves rich selling books and systems and commissions.

That 12% is the definition of the Holy Grail for the stock market - But that just isn't good enough for folks.

I've found the Holy Grail for Roulette:

Play Roulette slowly and get as many free drinks as possible.

That's my conclusion so far.

I know many of you believe you have the Holy Grail so what does it look like?

In 3 2-hour sessions at a casino at night just what should you expect from the Holy Grail?

I expect free drinks, some of you seem to expect more - I'm curious just what you expect after 6 hours at the table?

Real numbers please - say you start with $500 - 6 hours later how much should be in your pocket?

(There is no right or wrong answer - just your opinion)

Thanks,

"say you start with $500 - 6 hours later how much should be in your pocket?" >>> With $500? Not much.

Not a good start.

So far I see a "I have no idea what you are talking about" and leave with $500 in your pocket.

I thought many here had the Holy Grail - $500 into ???? in 6 hours at the Roulette table

I expect to leave with $500 minus the number of Green 0's and 00's times the minimum bet, but certainly many here expect more.

Right?

I would be very happy (and rich) if my HG earned 14 cents in the dollar.

Airball 72 spins per hour - playing 13 numbers - progression 1.2.3.4 - no losses (thankyou HG) - average outlay for 6 hours $11,000 - profit $1540.

The no losses bit is the tricky bit. With expected losses factored in the take home pay would be more like $500 profit.

$500 is actually not bad for 6 hours work, although I wouldn't be diving out of bed for it.  ;)

Well then $5,000 or $50,000 or maybe you're a whale at $500,000.

But you do expect something from a "Holy Grail" don't you?

Do you want to learn how to read randomness and to learn about play management?

Everything will happen in the Private section ( Gizmotron's section ) You won't be able to find this section if you are not logged in as a member.

Just in case you didn't know it. You are the Holy Grail. It comes from inside of you. It comes from the way you play.

With my method of play , about 40 spins total   within those   6 hrs I have  either  $ 375.00  left from the original bankroll of $ 500 or the  bankroll has increased  to  $ 600.00  or slightly above . :ok:

Like the MAN says; If you wanna win more .....bring more.!!!

Oh yeah ! The Holy Grail. It exists where the   pink elephants roam.

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!

P.S. FREE drinks to be added to those  amounts  given above.

What would a holy grail look like?

For one thing, you really need to know not only how it works but WHY it works. This is important because otherwise you are simply being fooled by randomness, which is why lots of "grails" are trumpeted only to be abandoned later when the longer term results emerge. That's why roulette system players are always searching and researching systems, looking for "the one". They simply fail to see they are being fooled by randomness, which is much bigger than they imagine.

Sorry, I know it's a downer, but take heart, there ARE ways to win at roulette. Alternatively look at other games like blackjack or poker.

If there is a Holy Grail system it will most likely bet on every spin. It will not wait for due events, it will not attempt to predict any outcome, it will not make adjustments for adverse fluctuations, it will cut a swath through randomness yet it will not force the issue - it will bend with the wind, it will know when to hold 'em & know when to fold 'em, it will be elastic yet rigid, it will not be confined by feeble flat betting, and it will smell real pretty - a bit like a fine chardonnay...

Would the Holy Grail start with $500 and 6 hours later be at $501?

Or would it double each hour?  $500 -> $1,000 -> $2,000 -> $4,000 -> $8,000 and finish at $16,000 6 hours later?

Personally I think a true Holy Grail would act like that.

In 1 hour let's say there are 30 spins each one adding 6% or about 100%, doubling, of the Bank Roll in an hour.

6% is just $30 of $500 to start with.

I don't know but that's how I would imagine a true Holy Grail at work...

Iit will not be confined by feeble flat betting

Is this the same flat betting that helps you keep your starting bankroll low & stops you playing an increasing progression ?

I should have said it will not be confined by feeble flat betting yet will not rely on a bust your arse progression.  :D

I have always maintained that sensible progressions are a legitimate weapon in the roulette arsenal, and in the extreme long run amount to flat betting anyway.

I use maths ,statistic , systems and betting schemes All together I call this a strategy.I developed my skill in 35 years playing and studying the roulette.I believe in fair random devices  I have no secrets and to sell .I only offer my knowledge and experience
Though I have not a HG I am very successful on internet casinos.Never a lost session in the past 6 weeks. The results  you can find on Rouletteplayersclub.Free demos are possible.

I see the Holy Grail allowing you to flat bet initially and then use the casino's money for leveraging bets later.

I also see a Holy Grail as being profitable with 2 minutes and never going under water.

Basically, I see the Holy Grail as something that is so easy to spot by fellow gamblers that a crowd would circle within the first hour.

I've never seen this happen at a Roulette table and thus my conclusion that I've never been near a Roulette Holy Grail in many years of gambling.

A Holy Grail is a Holy Grail - fellow gamblers would instantly recognize it's signature....
