Title: To all ye winnahs
Post by: Nathan Detroit on March 07, 2011, 04:15:45 AM
To  all those  bragging winnahs:

On a recent 20/20 type show, Steve Wynn was interviewed while strolling around one of his casinos.

He was asked if any gambler EVER came out ahead.......in all the years he's been in the business.

His answer was NO

Does that sound plausible?

NOT ONE

No gambler , known to Mr. Wynn , has ever gone to a casino and come out ahead.....in the long run?

??

Whom should we believe  ? The winnahs or Mr. Wynn ?

Just look at the odds and EVERY table/machine in a casino is a winner for the casino and loser for the gambler.

The more you play the more you lose over the long run - that's what the math says.

But there will be folks who are the 5% of the Bell Shaped Curve which will beat the casino due to good luck.

Casinos lie.....

Ninety percent of the people who enter a casino are ahead at one time  or  anotherr but  70 % of  those give it all back.

I won`t give  up  those  days in a casino as long they include  restaurants/ shows / plus  some action at the tables.

Just for action at the tables   without the  other two ? NO   WAY ! !. :ok:

ya ya every people have this experience , win, continue play the game, lost , continue play the game.
lost all money then stop. this is psychology problem.

the only way to win is win and stop and out from casino.
lost and stop .not lost further.

It's all a mindset.

People like Nathan have a great attitude towards gambling and understand how to get the most out of it.

There is certainly more than one way to skin a cat.

william hill had a punter who won two years in a row. it had never happened before .it was betting by post.  he checked it out and found he was cheating with the postmarks. all gamblers have winning days. but the losing days will outnumber them. good luck.
