Title: Win and Lose Progression
Post by: picsous on October 14, 2013, 08:04:12 PM
Hello

As you know , playing d'Alembert and inverted d'Alembert does not work ; adding +1 when losing or +1 when winning doe not work as a long time winner.
I have created a new strategy which is based on Ws and Ls :
First of all I start with 1 unit. If I have already won earlier, I can start with 2 units.
So , my strategy is like this:
if you lose twice , you remove 1   from your last bet  (that is for instance , if you had bet 5 , now you bet 4 because you remove 1)
if you win twice , you stay with the same bet as long as you win
if you lose and then you win , you add 1 to your bet
if you win and then you lose , you also add 1 to your bet

for instance , I play the last color
let's imagine this sequence:  RBBBRRRBRRRRBB ,
since R has come out , I play R and I start with one unit , I lose , then I play B , I win this one , I play again B adding +1 , and I win +2 and so on....
so my bets are like this:
RBBBRRRBRRRRB = 13  spins to be played like this (last color)
LWWLWWLLWWWLW  = 8 spins won and 5 spins lost
-1+1+2-2+3+4-4-5+4+5+5-5+6  = +13      is the progression to be played adding or removing , depending on the last 2 spins
my strategy is starting again from 1 unit (or 2 if you're already a winner) when my bets make me a winner during  the sequence I play
for instance , -1+1+2 make me a winner because -1+1+2 = 2     this is simple ! So , after my third bet (+2) I should stop and start afresh from 1 ; however you can keep on the sequence to win more.
so let's divide the 13 spins sequence:
-1+1+2   STOP  , 2 units won , I start with 1 unit for the next spin:
-1+2 (because +- you add 1+1) STOP , 1 unit won so I start with 1 unit for the next spin:
+1-1-2+1+2 STOP , 1 unit won , I start again with 1 unit:
+1-1+1 STOP , 1 unit won
that makes 5 units won if you start from scratch after a winning sequence
As to the bet selection , it can be anything , last spin or penultimate spin and so on..

Is this good or no good progression ?
Any questions or remarks ?

interesting prog, I think that george (GLC) should take his hat off! hahahah
anyway I give it a try and found it efficient, just one thing, when you are facing a recovery phase and are managing high bets, you should bet a value that allow you to close the drawdown, not more.

One more thing, i am a fan of 1/2 bets, because the ladder is more equilibrated so the scheme could be:

LL > -1 (including a 0 bet after 2 1s lost)
LW > +0.5
WL > +0.5
WW >  =   (or pushing a 0.5 unit)

great work!

after more testing:
I have some doubts in increasing the bets after a LW.
a long LWLWLWLWLWLW sequence bring s you high bets but with low gain as you are betting something like -4/5/-6/7 etc.   high risks and low reward
??? better decrease half bet on LW ??? (or 1 bet if you like)
