Title: Deleted subject?
Post by: Nathan Detroit on April 15, 2016, 07:34:37 PM
An improved  and possibly more  like able and playable version of TIERS ET TOUT was posted. That was yesterday. Today the post had vanished without a trace.  Another hijacking of a system by a HACKER?

The author had spent a lot of time working out this system and  then took the time posting it.

HACKERS have infiltratraded this forum.

Well, I do not know if Hackers took command of the forum, what is the purpose of doing so on a roulette Forum (well maybe hackers paid by casinos who knows) , but I also noticed some of my old posts were deleted.

Stealing systems that`s what they are doing. We had  a problem  like that   beginning of the year..Some hacker   deleted the  posts at the system Black  and Low left only  a few posts intact..

There is no evidence of the forum being hacked. Actually the forum software is very secure. When forums are hacked, its almost always because admin or someone had a weak password that was guessed. The chances are you arent looking in the right place for the post/thread.

I checked and it looks like that post was edited in 2008 by Arteinvivo himself. What makes you think it was hacked and deleted?

In 2008 the thread creator could edit posts in threads they created. That setting was terrible for the forum. So it looks like Art removed your post. I can retrieve these posts though if you want but need to do tomorrow.

Steve,

Please ,make an attempt  to retrieve  this full  thread.

Towards the end  of 2015  I  had posted this link   at the sister board  which resulted  in a brief discussion among interested  parties .I  had stored this  link in my favorite places for an occasional reference

The thread was always  there and nothing had ever been  deleted until I noticed it a few days ago.
Thanks for your attention in this matter.

PS> One of the participants during that 2015  discussion was TWOCatSam who helped another poster with a question that Arteinvivo  had posted  the system ifor EC Black and  Red.

The entire 2 pages were in Black, Red, and Yellow.  An excellent chart.

I would like to add  that Arteinvivo  has  completely disappeared from the radar screen since at least 2009.

I've found and restored the posts

Actually there were quite a few posts missing. It's not just Arte's posts, so I'm guessing at some point the database became corrupted. Here are some of restored ones from Arte:

It doesnt appear to be a result of hacking of password theft. What could have happened during a server crash is parts of the database get corrupted, then a repair will drop those areas.

Looks like it affected about 5% of posts. Even mine: nolinks://nolinks.vlsroulette.com/index.php?topic=21576.msg154069#msg154069 (nolinks://nolinks.vlsroulette.com/index.php?topic=21576.msg154069#msg154069)

Checking what the posts were, they are just random. Even meaningless posts were affected.

So to reiterate my PM to you that really got no response,

Why are these important?  And is there something of value related
to the discussion of the D'alenbert? (Or anything else?)

There must have been SOME reason you thought they were important.

Mogul,

There was  I just saved Arteinvivos final thread for future reference of the EC bet selection  method .  The D`Alambert was  of NO importance to me..

If the  screen name  of the hacker is known should  the identity be made  public ?

I know it can happen because of very easy passwords, try to change may be this would help
