I need to send some money to a friend in US from Australia. (about AUD 6,000)
The exchange rate is the lowest since 2007 now. (AUD to USD) :-[
Will it continue to fall during this/next week?
Or is it better to send it now anyway?

Send it now, currentky the US debt is hurting the value of the dollar. Unless there is a something that happens in the upcoming weeks from the U.S. government that signals to investors that U.S. economy is on the mend, waiting may cost you by the day.
