Hey Guys. Tell me your opinion on this.

A friend of mine wants to open a casino account but he is insisting on using an account that pays BIG bonuses. I have only joined casinos with straight cash, because I don't like to wait for the playthrough money to be spent. I told him that it takes a long time in order to withdraw any money. But he insists that it won't take as long as I think.

He is going to invest $300 into a casino that pays 500% bonus. But the casino is saying that you have to bet up to 20 times your total $+bonus. So he is going to have to play $30,000 worth of bets before he can cash out anything. He insists that it won't take long, but I beg to differ.

Anybody with a good head for math want to take a crack at this? How long would it actually take to bet that much cash?

Too long if you ask me. I would rather play with straight cash and build slow.

bet $5 on each number on roulette so each spins you bet 185 bucks but lose $10. Now 30,000 divided by 185 gives you around 163 spins. But your loss from all of this is 163 X 10 which is 1630 which is more than what he will have (1500) so his going to lose his money but the looks of things.  ::)

Don't forget Drogan, virtually every casino DOES NOT allow roulette to be counted towards the wagering requirements....  >:( >:(

So his task has just become closer to impossible... [smiley=wink.gif]

Yea I know.

I think he's crazy. He just won't listen to reason.

He thinks in order to win you have to start with a large bank roll.

I don't see why he can't just start with the $300 and make $1 bets and build slow.

Sheeeesh!!!!!

Everybody has a different mentality when it comes to roulette.... [smiley=wink.gif]

Your friend should spread his cash around and take bonuses from multiple casinos.  He should then go all in on every one, and after that he will have moved his money to half the number of casinos, but with the original wagering requirements in each one.  Therefore, he will effectively no longer need to bet 20x his cash, only 10x.

I can send you a spreadsheet that you can play around with to use as a proof if you like. PM me if you want it.

Otherwise, as others have mentioned, the chances are he will lose.

Best,

Carl.
