Hi John Solitude,

I heard about your raindrop - method of play. Is it possible to read about your system/strategy?

Kind regards

Hey John Solitude,

I found your Raindrop method. It's been very interesting. Preliminary test have proofed to be quite positive! One question, once I have my numbers to play, do I only play until a win and then stop and re-calculate, or say I win the first spin, do I continue betting for say 4-5 bets or a win?

Cheers! [smiley=beer.gif]

Quotewin the first spin, do I continue betting for say 4-5 bets or a win?

I'd say stick to the "WI", Waker + Ideal value. Let's see what John Says...

Hey Vic, :  ;)

What is the Waker + Ideal value about? Is there a link to it? I'd like to have a peak.

I appreciate any and all info on roulette!  [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Cheers Mate! [smiley=beer.gif]

One question, once I have my numbers to play, do I only play until a win and then stop and re-calculate, or say I win the first spin, do I continue betting for say 4-5 bets or a win?

The whole idea behind the raindrop method is:

- It is improbable (but not impossible) that a section of adjoining numbers will not be hit for x amount of spins. If all numbers do have an equal probability to be hit on each spin, eventually all sections will be hit (just like when it's raining, eventually the whole pavement gets wet). Just like raindrop a wheel has no memory of which stones were hit already, however, eventually each stone (section) gets hit.

- In the first guide we wrote the raindrop method was explained in much detail, so I won't go into the details here (how much to bet, for how many spins). The guide can still be downloaded for free on the Roulette Xtreme website.

We played it like this:

- wait for a adjoining (numbers which are neighbours) section of the wheel to not be hit for x amount of spins
- play the selected section of adjoining (neighbour) numbers till a hit or a bust
- once the section has been hit, recalculate, wait, play a section till a hit or a bust, and so on, ...

This can be very succesfull method, especially if you are playing on roulette wheels on which the spread between lowest and highest bet is quite large and you do not have to pay the dealer.

Because you'll have to wait for x amount of spins before playing, you will not go into the flow the game induces if you play each spin. Most players loose a lot of money on roulette, because on a bust or a hit, they get excited and will try to regain money lost, or increase the bet too quickly.

The machines we played were automated wheels on which the lowest bet was 0.25 euro / and the total amount of bets could amount to 150 euro on one spin. So, we were able to repeat the bets on the numbers of the section we had chosen for several spins untill a hit or a bust, without loosing an arm or a leg.

However, I must warn you: roulette is a negative expectation game.

So, it's possible to create mathematical systems that offer you a reasonable chance to gain money for a shorter or longer period of time (depending on how much you play and luck), however it is impossible to create a mathematical system which offers complete security.

Even using the raindrop method you can go bust on your very first attempt if you are very unlucky.

The reason why we did recalculate after a hit, is in the case the wheel would be biased.

Suppose the section of the wheel you have selected does not get hit regularly over a very large amount of trials a technical imbalance is possible, however unlikely in today's modern casino environment (wheel outcomes are checked statistically by the casino and they will close the wheel, because the casino knows it's vulnerable to loose money at this point).

For more information on roulette fact and fiction, I'll refer to my site.

Hey John,

I did download the piece about your Raindrop system. I also tried it in a live casino. It does work. I mentioned it a while back on rouletteforum to a newby. Of course stefano had a lot to say yadiyadiyadi! Some others also backed you up. Stefano however had the cat by the tail and said something of even chance or something. Anyhow just want to tell you I know it works cause I have tested it in live casino. I think though that I would if I play it again increase the value of the bets substantially, cause it is quite a long wait to recalculate.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I am just an average player but in the spirit of sharing with guys like you, Kimo, Lanky, Victor, Ronjo, Clothdog, Matty etc. etc. etc. and the list goes on... I try and share whatever I pick up along the way.

Thanks again.
