Hi Guys,

Thought I would never see it but the table next to the one I was playing had 31 Blacks in a row!!

The problem was that no one was following the Black and thousands were being lost each spin.

By the time it got to the 32nd spin the table looked like chips as high as the Empire State Building was on Red. The punters got some back but a lot ran out of money well before the sequence broke.

So it does happen!

Wow Mocco, that would have been quite a spectacle to see! Anything past 30, actually.

Not one single soul mate?

Geez, a trend player would have gotten the picture after, erm... 15 in a row? :o

Not many into "the trend is your friend" :-\

I would have hammered it after four spins. After ten in a row I would have tested to see if I could let the bets ride up to max sized. It was proof of an elegant pattern after it was done. You must have a plan to attack all elegant patterns. In that situation you let a bet ride up to very high per spin and then you reap each spin after that. I know first hand. I've had three times where I won way above my flat bet level attacking situations like this. So you made nothing? That will teach you, perhaps.

I was playing my own strategy at the next table, so there was no impact, either way, on me.

It all looked a bit crazy to me. There were so many chips on the RED box that they were spilling over into the other boxes.

Had I been there I would have been playing either a DBL or FTL, so it would have been good.

Oh god!   If I could ever seen 31 in a row on any table I think I could probably retire from gambling!

According to my usual method of play, by the 16th Black I would be at the table max bet and holding it for the next 15 spins/throws!   My usual table has a $2500 limit!!

Arrrrrrrgh.

AD (15 x 2500 = $37,500)

Hi  Adu  if  i can   what  is   your  usual  method playng  thank  you;)

kav

I'm sorry but it is hard to believe 31 Blacks in a row. Maybe you didn't count right? 31 Blacks in a row have never been documented anywhere, ever.

TwoCatSam

kav

I think you're in error there.  If memory serves me right, 39 is the most ECs ever recorded.  Makes no difference which one:  an EC is an EC.

Has anyone ever seen so many chips on a number that the pit boss wrote it down on paper and let people bet there?  I did in Tunica, Mississippi.  One old fart was stacking chips on 29 way too high.  Then everyone wanted to join him thinking he must be going to hit.  You can only go so high!  Boss wrote "29" on a piece of typing paper and set it in a blank area of the table.  Never saw or heard of that, but it happened.

That's a mostly true story!

Yes, mostly true, I was there.
Sam wasn't old then.

kav

the probability of 31 blacks in a row is (1/2)^31=0,000000000466 = 47 times in 100.000.000.000 or less than one time in 2 billion tries

Hi Kav.

I know Moccoman Personally and I can vouch for the Man's Honesty.

I know Your saying Kav that the possibility of this happening is so very high.

But seeing as though Moccoman Owns His own Business associated with Counting and employs approx 10 people I would think that for Him to miscount that at all would be what I would find strange.

In fact He & I have played Roulette together at Star City Casino in Sydney Australia.

The day We met and while I was playing and waiting for Him to arrive there was no 3rd Dozen for 23 spins in a Row.

Lohnro told Me about 3 weeks ago that when He was playing the 1st Dozen went missing for 31 spins in a row.

Just last week I played a session where the 1st Dozen missed for 25 spins in a row.

I know they are Dozens that I am talking about that went to sleep and not Blacks that appeared as it was in Moccomans post.

But Hey anything is possible at Roulette Mate.

Sam once said that if the Roulette Wheel got up and took a pee in the corner He would not be surprised.

Lanky.

I made an RXtreme file with this exact question in mind...(how many times can it repeat?)

You can download it here: nolinks://vlsroulette.com/downloads/?sa=view;id=422

and for an explanation, visit here: nolinks://vlsroulette.com/general-board/this-should-be-distributed-to-all-newbs-(or-believers-in-the-martingale)/

Note: I'm not calling anybody on this thread a newb, that was just simply the title of the thread.  The file mentioned above is great even for those that have played roulette for awhile.  It can be very "eye-opening".

@ Moccoman >>  Great story...terrifying...but great, haha.  Thanks for sharing.

Spike

I'm not calling anyone a liar, but I doubt this happened. The odds are astronomical. It would have to be with no zeros, no dealer errors. Sorry, you'll never see it.

Moccoman

Spike, you are right, the odds are astronomical - more than 2 billion to 1 - and I would not have believed it either, had I not seen it myself.

Be that as it may, anything can happen with this game - and it does.

Wasn't there a case in France a few years ago where the zero appeared some unbelievable number of times in a row?

So people can believe it or not and in the scheme of things it doesn't really matter as I just reported what happened.

So if I said that I had the "Holy Grail", then that would be another thing!!!
