USA December1st deadline

I have a question.

On December 1 st the government apparently going to make it harder to gamble online and receive money..I think that part of that bill is supposed to go into effect on Dec 1.  I have money on betphoenix... should I withdraw it all before 12/01/09?

  An interesting question for sure.   I've got deposits in two online accounts and had heard rumors of this "pending legislation" too.

yea it is getting close and I am getting nervous, I do not want my money to get stuck. I also don't want my account frozen..that would be bad.

I put it on betphoenix using ewallet express. I play baccarat, bet phoenix is not worth it for roulette.

I all so have a good amount in betpheniox. As far as everything I have read I feel safe leaving it there as some of the rulings from the WTO, have said that if the USA has online horse betting, then it can not block horse betting from outside the country.

Betpheniox has where I have had my money since this all started.

Back when this all started I had funds in Bodog, which the US goverment went after. It took me 6 months to get the money out. But today Bodog is back and I have had no problems getting money in and out.

I thought the laws where being relaxed. Could you please tell me where your info on this 1 Dec 2009 deadline comes from.

I forget exactly where I read this. If you go to theppa.org then you can find a lot of info on the laws. there is a video about how they are trying to slow down the enforcement of whatever the name of the bill is that was pushed through awhile back.

Read through it, I am not a lawyer and Holiday Express did not help me understand it.

From what I can see it looks like it will not effect any of the off shore racebooks or anything connected to them.

I am going to leave my money in and make my normal monthly withdrawals.
