My suggestion on how to deal with Herb/Landis and others like him.......

You may take it or leave it, but here it is.

Some of you may have noticed I am once again a moderator.  I could squash the follow statement Herb made to me:  "Your world is small becaue you don't travel much." but I didn't.

I choose to ignore Herb.  More of you might want to consider doing the same.  I have tried to be decent and even complimentary to both he and Spike and it is a futile effort.  

My goal as a mod is to encourage this forum to do more ignoring, more working, more studying and a lot less arguing.  When you argue with these people, all you do is give them ammunition to fire back at you.  Why do that?  Why not just continue with what you're doing?

With that, I put Herb/Landis and all of his future names on IGNORE.  I can assure you if everyone ignores him, he will go away!  Why not try it, Richard?

Landis/herb is the most disruptive member I have ever come across on this forum. Having my thread messed up
was the last straw and I am not prepared to put up with it. I have spelled it out to the Moderators that  I want
him banned for ever from this forum, it's non negotiable.

I have so far not received a reply from the Moderators.

I have stated in the Signum thread if I don't get a satisfactory reply by the end of this week my association
with this forum is at an end. If you and the other Moderators wish to ignore such disruptive behaviour that's
fine but, don't expect me to waste my time with such nonsense.

 This a public forum where people should be allowed to express their thoughts and opinions about the game without insulting each other.
It is far fetched to assume that you are going to have everyone agreeing with you about everything you say. You can't control people's thoughts.
Would a simple solution not be just to agree to disagree and both promise not to post in each others threads again FULL STOP or face the wrath of the moderators.

How can we gain knowledge if facts are suppressed?
Isn't this supposed to be a place where we share ideas?
Please don't let freedom of speech die on the forum.
Someday, we will all regret these loss of ideas if we do.

I think all views should be expressed.
Simply put, the facts need to come out.

When ideals are no longer welcome and the facts are suppressed, ignorance grows.
Only the fools ignore facts.
Many people lose when the facts are lost in childish arguments.
And all posters should except that other people may disagree with their ideas.

You have posted your opinions ,dont you think its now time that the forum members were given enough respect to make up their own minds whether to persue their testing/or not of Signum or any other system for that matter?
At the end of the day they will take on board what you have both said and then make up their OWN minds as what to do.
