Hello everyone.    :)

First, sorry for my english,  im european and this is not my primary language.  For some times, I have read roulette's forums (the lounge, then VLS).

So, like all of you I'm looking for the holy grail, but this little voice inside of me tell that roulette is unbeatable.    :nono:  Unlike Poker or Sport Betting, where I think money can come with some skills, roulette is pure mathematic and the house edge is killing win.   :diablo:

But was about no zero roulette ? I was always thinking that is the house edge only who make systeme bust.  If it's remove, we do have a great chance of succes (or at least not bust) ?

Do you think no-zero roulette is beatable ?

Also have bet limit very diffrent to any other game what have not "zero edge" feature.
Somwhere I have seen that in payouts something is diffrent but cant remember what.

Hello aegil, welcome to the forum.

They are still schedule to take all the player's money via dispersion of hits.

Remember, there is a rule in gambling: the player with the most money will last longer. By the time the values even out, the player with the limited amount of money gets wiped, even without any edge against him/her.

The casino is the player with a virtually unlimited bankroll, so is the one scheduled to be standing in the end.

The only way to beat the games from strictly mathematical point of view is to get the positive edge at the game, so when the values equalize, you come ahead.

Regards.

OK, I feel qualified to speak to this as I have witnessed a few hundred thousand non-zero spins at Bet Voyager.............

The house edge is a fake, just like in football or boxing.  You take your eye off the real enemy to look at the house edge and the real enemy knocks you flat.  So when would the house edge come into play?  Only if you bet the exact same, red for example, from now on.  Then you're exposed to not only the waves but to the house edge.

So what is the real enemy.  Ah, we should all listen more to Victor!  And Lanky!  It is the waves, trams, flows or whatever you wish to call them.  I am beginning to see the real enemy is dispersion which I call volatility.  Who could win on this:  R b R b R b R b R b R b R b...and so on to infinity?  Could you win?  Would a Martingale win?  Why?  There is no, NO, volatility.  And we get this in what Utopian world?  Not the one we live in!

So what do we do?  We work our butts off to learn when volatility/dispersion is greatest and when it's taking a break.  It swings like a pendulum!  My November/December test is to learn about volatility as applied to roulette in a different manner.  I will post the results in early 2010.  Some may find it interesting and if I can speak to "some" I'll be happy!

Would you go in casino where is allowed min 1$ to max 90.000.000$  ?

And play with martingale on red?

Sorry for of topic.

hello aegil

winning or losing with the zero house edge on (no zero wheels) all depends on whether you bet single straight up 35 to 1 numbers or if you bet the outside (losing) bets.

If like most roulette players you bet on the outside bets, then you will slowly lose, whatever roulette wheel you play at. Single, double, non zero!

The only way to play is playing the inside 35 to 1 numbers. And this is what the casino house edge is worked out upon. So zero edge should be more of an advantage in this style of play.

Have played betfairs no zero wheel and I didn't gain more of an avantage than european roulette 2.7%. I fact I faired worse with the no zero wheel as it didn't produce the patterns that I look for on single zero roulette.

It all depends on you skill and luck.

Sorry to bump this up guys, but do we still need to  pay 10% on our net winnings for this year?
