Could roulette cheats be using Morse code?

Using their usual electronic and laser equipment to gain the sector prediction. Then relaying this data via Morse code via a discreet flashing LED device placed discreetly near enough to the player so he can read the number. The player is then not fitted with any form of electronic device to implicate him. Possible or not possible?

I can't imagine a casino cheating players. Any type of bias will cause an opening for players to game the table.

I can imagine a local underground casino doing it though.
